I'd like to discuss logs much larger than 12" with you, John In this case, we recommend that you use the LogOX as a full-cant A tree has been cut after it has been - When your log is limbed, trim your desired log lengths into the bark using your chainsaw up the length of the log (you can use our chainsaw bar length as a Afterwards, cut 3/4 of the way through the log with all your initial cuts. Utilize the LogOX to roll the log over and complete your cuts using a cant hook to avoid accidentally hitting the ground. Similar to using a timberjack, this method will prevent your chain from accidentally striking the ground and is easier to use than trying to lift up a large tree.
The machine can handle logs bigger than 2 feet in diameter when rolling them. See the video of Lucas Mill owner rolling a huge log on Facebook! As long as it can handle the weight of the lifter, it will. When logs are too heavy, we hook them onto a sled and drag them.

Large jobs cannot be completed in this time frame. Several large limbs of pine (cut into thirds) were over 70 feet tall. I had to cut them down to 16" logs. I needed this tool to accomplish this. It would be impossible to use the Fiskars Hookaroon (my favorite tool for moving firewood logs around) for this job. As a result of its extremely solid construction, this tool is extremely well made. Its chunkiness and weight give it a substantial feel. When working with wood 24+ inches in diameter and lengths exceeding 10 feet, this is probably not the best tool for the job since the Cant Hook extension is too short.
There were times when I was trying to roll 15 foot sections (22-. ), as I wasn't able to Additionally, the Timberjack extension was too long compared with the cant hook extension. It was constructed well, but the overall length didn't match the cant hook extension. a result, I was not able to elevate the pieces I Rather than buying the large cant hook and separate timberjack, I should have bought a large cant hook. As an additional note, I would never use this to move already split firewood due to its heavy build quality. There is just too much weight on it. I use the lightweight Fiskars Hookaroon for that job, and the entire tool costs less than the expensive log ox connector which is almost twice as heavy. In summary, this tool is too large and heavy for most light jobs, and too small for the really heavy ones. It was a good idea to spend the extra money on something that was compact and that could be used in many different ways. As soon as I used it, I realized I made the wrong choice. The only way I would change my mind about this tool is if Log Ox came out with a cant hook extension that was 18 to 24 inches or longer.
I have all the problems that come with that, along with a lot of problems. You can imagine the pain in the back, the shoulders, the hips, the SI joints, and arthritis, ect. that I love to be in the woods and work in the woods. I love working in the woods and want to die This was becoming increasingly difficult as constant bending over was taking its toll on My life changed forever when I got the LogOX in my hands. I used the Log-in for the first time on the day after I got it I was absolutely amazed when my wife walked through the patio door and saw seven loads of fresh firewood. The normal course of events is for me to cut one or two lots and then sit in bed for three days in excruciating It's best to watch YouTube videos on how to use the tool properly before beginning to use it. Using LogOX will be a bit different than any other tool you may be used to, and it does require some learning. Take your time and watch the videos. Once you have mastered the right technique you'll be amazed at what you can achieve. In addition, your back feels great and your productivity goes through the roof. It has stood the test of heavy and large wood with no problem. It has been a pleasure to work with it. When you lift a large log, you can go all in knowing there will be no broken handles to let you fall. Using a LogOX as a splitter or chopping block is incredible. It feels good at the end of the day to know your problems are being addressed. There are several choices for you to choose from It will make it very easy to load your tools in a compact manner to get them to where you're Here is the log - With a flexible system like OX, you can adjust it whenever you need to. It is the log- It is THE best company to do business with. The company stands behind its products and is proud to manufacture them in the United States. For a product that is so different from its competition, the prices are very competitive.
I think it is important to point out that this is an extremely sturdy and well-made product. The result is that it is also quite heavy and you will probably add about 10 lbs to the weight of any log you are planning to move. Additionally, it is designed for logs with a diameter of 12 to 15 inches--anything over that would be a problem (see picture To be honest, I was able to position logs that probably weighed between 100 and 150 pounds This is greatly beneficial, given it allows me to cut with 200 lbs (something that would have been near impossible without it) in a way that is quite useful from that, admittedly limited, perspective.
The quality of the service was better than I expected. After spending almost $200 on this, I fully expected that there was a good possibility that I would have to return it. In addition to videos and reviews, I would only keep this account if they met my qualifications. This week, I received the multi-language version of LogOx I set up this tool two days ago and was immediately impressed to see how well-built it is, how well the configurations fit together, and how solid it felt to use it as if if it were one piece. On my property, I have eight large trees that have been cut down, so I brought out the LogOx and was able to roll large logs up to 20"+, and roll up sections of logs up to 20" My experience with LogOx was more than I had hoped for and there is no way I would go back to any other product. Investing in this piece of equipment is a big deal. Based on what I've seen out of it these last two days, I think it is.
We just returned from our farm and were so impressed with its performance that we dug up the review pages. A total of 20-percent of the orders were handled by it Logs up to 24 inches were easily cut and tipped up without the tractor bucket being needed, allowing me to cut them without more effort. The construction of this watch is really good, and I like that it's made in the U. S. Although it is a bit pricey, it is a tool that can be used for many things. I use it for the logging on my farm rig as standard equipment. LogOX did a great job!.
Firewood is used for heating the house This means I have to spend a lot of time in the woods in order to cut enough wood to last a few seasons. I like how this tool is solidly built, and it was made in the USA, which I find to be important. It's a great tool to have on hand if you are cutting up small trees and don't want your saw to get dirty. Additionally, it will make the process much easier for you when picking up the bits and tossed into your truck or trailer. It was well worth the price.
