Through the bar, you will have to drill two holes. A chain 2 inches longer than normal is a good choice. You will be amazed at how well it works.
However, the bar needs to be shortened by two inches or the chain needs to be longer by two inches
In short, yes. In order to install the echo bar, you will need to drill the 2 holes. If you have an 18" bar, then proceed to the next step. A 20" chain is a good purchase. I love how well it works

It is easy to install on a chainsaw, a really good product, the only thing it requires is practice to make straight, flat and smooth cuts by finding the optimal speed to run the saw at. As you use and gain more experience, you will become better.
The product has so far proved to be of high quality and has no problems so far.
This worked so well for debarking the logs for a log cabin that I decided to purchase more. Quite sturdy, and I have gotten through about twenty 10ft logs before I have to sharpen it (I have about 20 logs Contains 10" of.
It appears that this tool does what it is advertised to do, as it is robust and hardy. This will be difficult to use with my chainsaw, but I am certain it will work. Since I will buy another one just for this, I have no doubt that it will.

So I received this product a while back and lost the little pieces to make it work with thicker chains should the need arise, and I was wondering if I could get those parts replaced.
