It is well built and works as well as any other brand I've tried. A good value for your money. This pinpointer is a good choice for someone who is just starting out in detecting and does not want to go into debt buying equipment. It's been a long time since I last saw the sun The author is a long-time detectorist who has owned and used more than fifty different detectors When I was a kid, I would have never dreamed of paying for this pinpointer. Pinpointingers let you know in an instant whether your find is still in the hole and where in the hole it is, or if it’s in the plug of dirt you have already pulled out of the hole. You will save time and energy by pinpointing your find very quickly. One should not be without one if one is to be a serious detectorist. You can even take it snorkeling or SCUBA diving or even down creeks where you need to locate a find that you found with your detector, as it is waterproof. I believe that the piece is made of a tough plastic with a sturdy construction. If you use a high quality brand name battery, this pinpointer will probably last you through your whole detecting season.
It can be set to alert you through an audible buzz and vibration or just vibration for silent detection. Especially good for the price, well built and works the best of any brand I have attempted to use.

The package arrived today after almost a month since I placed the order. I love the device, but only if it stayed turned During power up, the system shuts off after a few seconds. If you don't act quickly, it's useless. I Have Edited We are almost at the end of our A recent update an email from the seller offering to replace the device or whatever I need to ensure the satisfaction of my purchase. Since I already declined the offer from Amazon, I declined the replacement. I received a new replacement With this pinpoint detector, you will be able to see every detail in your scene. There has been a detector that costs more than five times as much as this one, and it does the same thing. The fact that I can get it all muddy and then wash it off without any worries makes me happy.

Seeing what we can find on a hike is what I can't wait to do. So far, it has worked very well, and includes a belt holster, as well as a wrist loop so it can be attached to your belt and a velvet pouch to carry it. Buying a metal detector is now so accessible that you actually get a 9v battery when you buy it. Sort of crazy that the metal detector came with a 9v battery as well.

Several pinpointers have been gifted to me and I have purchased several of them for myself. This was a gift I thought I'd get and be able to test to see how it goes. In my opinion, the Garrett pinpointer offers the best pinpointing performance of all the others. Being water-resistant was a plus, since it was going to be used at the beach. Fortunately, there is now one more major benefit to it. It beat my Garrett by a long shot. However, it still beat out the competition by quite a bit. As for the Sunpow, I will keep it and will get another one as a gift later on. Never say never until you give it a That was my first attempt in this case and I am really glad I did. Sunpow is one of the best products available.

This helped me locate my survey pin on the property line. The pin is mounted flush to the ground and mounted to a concrete post. We were unable to locate it over the years because it had been covered up. After I got my new metal detector, I found a buried pin within five minutes. The pin was covered in the soil by about 3 inches.

I like it very much. This works just as well as the garret I had. It has only been used for five hunts so far, but so far it has worked fine. It is because people think they are purchasing a metal detector rather than a pinpointer that I have seen a large number of negative reviews. It only talks poorly to my detector, and I have seen that as its only downfall so far. It is the Simplex + that I am using. In order to stop the pinpointer from working I usually mute my detector before I use.

It will not locate objects in remote areas where you cannot dig a plug. I stopped using the light after about 4 weeks. It is also possible for the unit to beep even when it is removed from the Fixing the issue requires turning the device off and on again. As you go out on the trail, you hear a random beep and have to turn the device off and on more frequently. It was not a purchase I would repeat, however, customer service was outstanding. The company has been working hard to improve its quality, but it's still In general, it is a decent unit for the relatively low introductory price, but it is bound to cause frustration.

A geocache finder was purchased for me so that I could As I searched in a pine tree I couldn't find a bison tube, so I got this out and started searching on Immediately catching on the bison tube under all of the pine needles, since it had been stepped on, the bison tube was partly buried in the soil. A log that I had signed had been hung back in the pine tree after I signed it. I had a lot of fun with that.
