The answer is yes. It can be used in the steam or on the beach since the Search Coil is waterproof. However, a note of caution must be made
I don't have an easy answer! As I have not worked with it too much I can only say it found all of the items I put in it to test it, including a nail buried about 3 inches The stake should be able to give you a reading if it is of a good size and is not buried too deeply, but I can't give you anything

In the middle of the volume buttons is a pin point button, that also has a beep into it. I don't wear a headphone and can hear the beeps clearly

I have been metal detecting for many years now and I have been buying detectors to obtain more accuracy. As it is the middle of winter here, I was not able to test the product outside however, I was able to do extensive testing indoors. It may seem odd for some of you to find it odd that I reviewed this without outdoor testing but rest assured a lot of detectors are tested indoors against each other to confirm strength and intelligence (I may update review as soon as spring arrives). A comparison of this detector (with it's 10" coil) with other detectors in the same price/power range revealed this detector to be very competitive. Among the most popular models are the Bounty Hunter Quicksilver, Garrett Ace 200, and Fisher F22 (all with 8" coils). It is simple to test a coin Then, we move the coin simultaneously against the coil in order to see if we can get a strong signal so far. As I do not want this review to turn into an essay, I shall stick to reporting the results of the quarter test. With the Quicksilver, a crisp signal could be heard with a correct tone at 8". The Ace 200 had a slightly less good signal at 7". The F22 again was 5", and the F22 was We also scored this detector at 7, and it rated 5". The number five. With dimes, nickels, silver dollars, and fifty cent pieces, the results were the same. On the whole, they are in the same ballpark as far as power is concerned. When testing the discrimination test, all the detectors worked correctly, however, the large coil on this detector made finding items and picking up garbage a little bit more challenging. There's no big harm in this, and when using large coils, there is always a risk. To put it simply, a smaller coil will be better at using discrimination in a shallower hole, since it covers a smaller area (smaller coils are also easier to use if you're primarily looking encourage you to use a smooth back and forth movement when swinging larger coils as they can miss the object, so use a slower swing when using the bigger coils. With that said, without going into further detail, from what I've seen, a detector at under $100 is a This detector is definitely geared toward beginners, but it comes with bells and whistles that you usually find only when you reach the $200+ price I recommend this detector to anyone interested in the hobby, whether it is to dig up your back yard, play on the beach, or simply to have a backup device like me.
It is a ring that is the most valuable. My local jeweler gave it an appraisal of It is believed to have been made in the mid to late 1800s based on the style of the ring.
Ricomax® comes with all the features I've been looking for in a metal detector and I'm glad I purchased it as a "starter" metal detector. Its price is a fraction of that of a high-end detector, yet it seems to be neck and neck. When I dialed back the sensitivity by two notches, I found the depth and metal accuracy to be very accurate. If you are prepared to take the time to delve into the red center button, it comes in incredibly handy to track down the item you are looking for. My second time I looked in my back yard, I found a large number of coins, and I even found an old German coin from about 4,000 miles away! I am very happy with the purchase!.
Based on my reading of the rest of the hints, tips, and recommendations, two new recommendations have been added The unit was only about 65-percent accurate at first, but it was more accurate after I tested it with various metals in the house (as recommended in the instructions) br> This is 70% accurate as to the type of metal (100% sensitive to the type of metal With the sensitivity adjusted and the distances tried, I would say around 80 percent of the target was hit 90 percent of the translations are Several types of nails, a penny, a dime, a quarter, and a gold ring were used in testing. As it was my first dry day yesterday, I took it out to my 26-acre property to test it out and get a feel for how it works Even though I was out for only a short period of time, I was able to detect a variety of metals at different distances in the ground without difficulty. As I had no digging rig with me at the time (my MocDoo is due tomorrow), I just reached up and dug it up There were several items that were close to the surface that were gathered. There were no real treasures (a very old beer can and some shotgun shells, all at about 3" down) but the discrimination feature and the depth estimation were accurate. Using this Ricomax detector and upgrading to the updated software, I am very eager to map out my property We're going to make some things cool.
I'm very happy with this unit, BUT I do have one con. The situation is not as bad as you might think. There should have been more brightness on the display. In addition, if you are dead and the sun hits you- The glare is quite bad when the sun is on. When you combine the two, you have to move the detector around to see the display clearly. The price, quality, and features indicate that the savings shouldn't be as great as you might think. A detector like this one would be a great buy again, and I intend to use it extensively in the future.
