Use of the app was very simple. The following tips will help you I recommend using a 9V battery that is brand new. If it isn't powerful enough, it doesn't turn the unit on and only the light will turn on for a moment. With a single press of the power button, it starts signaling metal and emits faster beeps when it is close to the metal. It was very simple to find the survey marker since I had a rough idea of where it was located, but using a map would have been a lot better, and digging without it would have only revealed that the marker was a few inches away from the fence.

It was put to use around the house as soon as the battery was put in. This is a hit with her, and we can't wait to take her out on some digs with it. There's no doubt this will be easy for her to use as it vibrates and beeps, and it gets more intense once she gets closer, so I have no doubt she'll be able to locate some treasure with it.
