I have used the Ace 150 and I found it to be very good! Besides the GOFIND me 60 by Minelab, I also have an android phone! There is a lot of trash in it, so I wouldn't recommend this machine! In total I only went to the beach two times, and I only played with the Ace 400 twice. I received over $20 from coins and a Tiffany and Company silver heart ring for the first time. It was actually today that I experienced it for the second time. A silver pendant of Jesus and a Tokugawa Shogun coin dating back over 400 years were among the coins I found as I was searching. Despite all the minerals on the beach, I fell in love with my Ace400 camera. It did a splendid job! I am amazed at the grace of God. After selling my Ace 250 metal detector a few years back, I am now using my first decent detector since then. The 400 was my second detector, but I also bought a cheap Chinese detector and learned quickly that you get what you pay for. For about five years I've been detecting for gold and silver coins. Recently I upgraded from my Bounty Hunter Time Ranger (a decent detector in its own right) to a Garrett G10. When I first learned about this gem, I was holding out for an AT Pro, but boy howdy, am I happy I didn't have to wait that long. My front porch was literally covered in snow as I waited for UPS to deliver it days ago, I was in my mid 40's and I felt like I was 10 years old again waiting for Christmas morning to arrive. As I had watched the three very informative and in depth manufacturer videos on YouTube over and over, I had it assembled when I opened the box and was swinging away 30 minutes after it was opened at an old local park that has been there since the 20's. My first time using the Ace 400 at this particular park was amazing. I had been there several times before, however never with it. It was 8 o'clock and I was hitting coins I'm not talking about low hanging crappy ass modern clothing either. There was solid trash and junk 9 inches deep that myself and others had missed. My results thus far have been beyond pleasing, as I recovered everything from Indian Heads to Walking Liberties. I didn't even know these older coins were even there all this time. I am now systematically visiting all the places I had visited previously, and so far my results have been excellent. There is no doubt that the 400 is extremely easy to use and beyond accurate. Also, the headphones that come with it are very nice, small and comfortable, not big and bulky like the rapper headphones in a studio pair, plus it has a volume control. The only complaint I have is that the "included" coil cover was not included in my order, but I bought it at a nearby office supply store for $15 because, in my opinion, coil covers are necessary. Therefore, I believe the Ace 400 is one of the best midrange models available today If an object is present, this level machine is accurate, easy to use, and will find it for a distance of roughly 10 inches depending on the size and condition. Be sure to watch the YouTube manufacturer videos before you put it to use, they are great instructional tools. * B-* F5 Seeing as it was a gift, I bought another Ace 400 on Amazon from a different seller. Because of the lack of the "included" coil cover in the order, I was quite annoyed as well. In neither box was there any obvious sign of tampering, and I am not sure why I was able to avoid receiving a coil cover on both orders. The Ace 400 is such an excellent product that if it were not for its quality and performance, I would never buy another product from Garrett again. If you advertise something, you better deliver it. Or it just makes you look like a big fat liar! **Section 6-** Following my contact with Garrett, the coil covers I was missing were sent to me, my coil cover issue has been resolved. The Ace 350 was my last camera, and now this one has come along. I sold the 350 and purchased an Iron Audio 400. I'm glad I did that. The 350 is a great machine but the 400 has better tones, iron audio, and a number scale I really like. My yard is now filled with all the nickels I have gotten lost in.
