metal detector's control box on the ACE 200 is not submersible, even though it features a waterproof coil. There is no way to use a coil in
Yes, that is the short answer. Its conductivity makes it a good conductor of electricity. You should consider a higher frequency gold detector and a pulse induction detector if you are seeking a gold detector and only want a gold detector. There is no requirement to use a detector to find gold rings, but metal nuggets can be found in high mineral terrain. It is only natural that the higher the cost of a detector is, the more you expect it to do. A PI gold detector will cost 20 times as much as this one.
I wouldn't say much, the Ace 150 and Ace 200 are both great metal detectors for entry level users.
We no longer have the ACE 150 model in stock. This new version of the ACE 200 has removed the 150 and replaced it with the ACE 200. There are numerous improvements, including both

The first thing I want to say is that I'm During one of my many gardens, my 86-year-old father lost (after more than 60 years of marriage) his wedding band in his backyard while planting roses and other small plants. It was not obvious to me where it was, since he has a lot of roses. The boy had been distraught and so I decided to give the Ace 200 a shot despite never having used one before. In approximately 10 minutes, I discovered his ring buried under about six inches of dirt. It was worth every penny spent when I saw the look on his face and my mother's face. In comparison to the Ace 200, I have nothing else to compare it with. Although this is my first metal detector, if it can find a small gold wedding band buried under six inches of earth, then it will certainly find other items as well.
It is an excellent metal detector for the price. It will be my first and I am very happy with it. It's not a long learning curve if there is As someone who has never used a good detector, I cannot compare it to anything, but I just found a silver coin on my first day out! In contrast with the coil, the display is not waterproof. This could easily be avoided by placing a zip lock bag over the display and holding it in place with a rubber band. I left it out all day that way without any issues. I HIGHLY recommend this metal detector to anyone interested in getting into the hobby while not spending The end of the semester is approaching and I'm excited!.
It had dual power sources With a comprehensive LCD display and audible target identification, users can easily identify their targets. Reduce the detector's sensitivity until it barely detects the target if you want to pinpoint a small The owner's manual explains how to use the device. It is recommended that you obtain a handheld pin set Locate the target with the help of the pointer. Moreover, test buried coins to show their depth by burying various coins at varying Make sure you practice operating the machine and locating the target to become familiar with its operation. The first time you use a new machine, you should train for a short period of time.
Since this was my first metal detector, take my words with a grain of salt, but let me say that I found this detector to be an absolute piece of crap. I was constantly awaking the system to a signal, and it would try to alert me later, no matter what the sensitivity was and where or how many times I covered the area it was alerting me. In addition, if you knock something on it, for example, if you drop a rock on it while searching creek beds, it sounds an alert. It is not quiet, and it is loud as hell (especially if you live in a rural area with no human activity), which is not fun when you have wolves and mountain lions in the neighborhood (like me). And I live in a rugged region, so in order to get to the place where I want to use it, I have to hike steep inclines, up and over heavy loads, through thick brush, etc, and I usually ride a quad to get there. I mounted the rifle rack on my quad and included the thing in my rifle rack for two weeks until it broke. Honestly, I don't know how durable it is, so if you're out on the beach going, I'm sure you'll be fine, but if you're out in the wilderness, you'll feel like you're carrying a crying baby There is just as much volume and just as much delicacy in this piece.
It has been a real pleasure using this detector and I have found several interesting coins so far. A feature I like most is its ability to distinguish between iron and the rest of what I want to search for. It is very nice as a second detector because it has great battery life, a nice weight, and a comfortable grip. I plan to keep this one for friends in case I decide to upgrade. It is only because I would prefer it to ship with a coil protector and headphones or at least a plug adapter for a common headphone jack that I am not giving this 5 stars. With this kit you won't feel like you're playing with a toy, you'll feel more confident and comfortable.
It is a good basic metal detector from a respectable With the Garrett 200, you can find plenty of gold at a very affordable price. It may not have the bells and whistles of pricier detectors, but it has a number of built-in features that pricier machines don't have. It was purchased as an additional detector to my more expensive one. To test it, I took it out into my back yard. In terms of performance, it was excellent. There are more expensive detectors you could choose from, but this one performed very well and will provide hours of fun to both entry level detector hobbyists and more experienced field directors. It was only during assembly that I encountered any problems. There was a tight fit between the S stem and housing in the upper and lower For it to lock into place, I had to apply some pressure and wiggle it into In fact, the stem length is adjustable, and once I got it in position it was easy to adjust. Detectors like this one are a perfect example of Garrett quality.
My experience with the Ace 200 was overall enjoyable, but it ultimately went crazy, so I had to return it. As soon as it was opened, it was amazing. However, soon after, it started to malfunction and became I had really high expectations, but I was let down badly. Though, I have to say that the ace 200 is an awesome entry level detector that I believe is made by Garrett. Those who would like to get into metal detecting should check out these books. As far as I know, the one I received was a lemon. I definitely found this product lacking in comparison with other ace 200's that I had previously used.
I found it to be exactly what they promised it would be. An easy to use game that's fun to play. Three or four years ago, we purchased an Ace 200 that is identical to our current Ace 200. Buying this one for our grandson was a great idea. Both are very satisfied with each other.
