Questions & Answers

This size of cart comes without wheels. Do you sell one?

I have one of them. I do not know if you can get one from Amazon, but I do It was for Christmas last year that I got this fryer. The present I get this year won't top this. I told my girlfriend not to get me anything because it won't match

The two are going to work together. A 5 gallon cooker will cook a 14-pound turkey and a 4 quart one a 4-pounder. Can you fill a 0 gallon container?

you are not supposed to fry turkeys in these.

When it reaches its maximum temperature, what happens?

This oil heater does not have a thermostat, so it will keep heating the oil until it reaches the flash point unless the propane flame is reduced.

The basket can be removed if it is not necessary to use it?

If you use it without the basket, we do not recommend it.

I've never seen a small deep fryer as good as this one
5/5

It is a common occurrence for me to deep fry in large pots, small pots, and even thermostatically controlled fryers at restaurants. Despite the fact that it does not have a thermostat, this fryer is great for small groups of people or small batches of food. You can hold the temperature very well without having to constantly adjust the burner and you get the same quality of fried food that you get from the commercial fryers. I find it great that I can get that level of quality of fried food when I use only two ingredients Oil that measures half a gallon. It was my first time using it, so I invited several friends that had a lot of deep frying experience over to see what I had wasted my money on. Before we had even finished cooking, they had been so taken aback by its capabilities, they were considering buying.

This is a workhorse of a bayou fryer
5/5

My first thought was to buy the Cajun Fryer because I like how the cooking compartments are divided. In that case, I could cook both chicken and fish at the same time. We typically eat fried food once a quarter, but we do eat it more frequently sometimes. As I said, I liked the divided compartments in the Cajun fryer, but I believed it would have been a bit overkill for me. most people I had in attendance at the picnic was about 20. A small fryer will be more than adequate for 2 people Six people are in the room. Further research led me to the Bayou classic, and I purchased two units, one for my mother, and one for myself. For less than half the price of one Cajun fryer ($850), you can buy two 5 gallon and four 4 gallon models. Thanks to my Amazon Prime membership, I was able to get both for $200, and the other for $250 with free shipping. Here are the two. I bought the 5 gallon and the 4 gallon for about $200 and $250 respectively on Amazon with free shipping. On their site, each is listed for $250 and $350 respectively. Both the 2 and 3 have worked for me. We took the 5 gallon fryer out about five times and it always lived up to our expectations. Please make sure that the valve is closed before adding oil to the chamber if you have one. My drain mechanism was labeled with sharpie so that I would have a visual of what it looked like (o for open, and c for closed). A propane tank regulator may be needed to regulate the temperature if you do not have one already, but it is merely.

It's not about whether you've got the grease
5/5

It's about how fast you can do it. In addition to fried chicken, fries, fish, onion rings, and stuffed peppers, we provide a wide selection of beverages. The thing does a lot of work! This is a very easy to use program that does what it's supposed to do. Everyone I know is jealous of me. Cleaning up is a breeze as well. Fill up original container with soapy water and let it soak for a while before draining and washing out grease. It has been one of my best purchases in a long time!.

The article was published a couple of days ago, and I am here to share my opinion
5/5

You may still be on the fence and decide to do so. This fish fryer was put to the test a couple days ago, and I'd like to say that I like It is best to stay off the fence and to not be undecided on this purchase. The fryer did a great job boiling fish, making hush puppies, and frying fries for five people. The fries cooked to a steady 350 degrees even when the temperature was being maintained by the oven. All of the food I had to cook took me only a few minutes to fry. As a result of the smaller size, this fryer will be used more now that it doesn't take so much oil, and since it's usually just me and my wife who use it.

It is good to be good and bad to be bad
3/5

About six times since this product was bought. The cooking results were 4 out of 5 stars. A score of 2 stars is awarded for cost, complexity, and users' ease of use. A good temperature control would be one example A good stability of temperature There is a lot of oil in the machine, so it does not have a great deal of effect on the temperature I like the basket - it works well The oil can be easily hung above it Has a good track record. I don't like it uses about 3 times as much oil as other designs Cleaning is more time consuming with this design When you cool down all that oil you can clean it up - but it takes a long time. My wait for the next day is always long. The conclusion is If I had my money to spend, I'd buy something else that would cost me less or be easier to deal with.
If I had to do it again, I'd pay for something else that would last longer. Fried fish, hush puppies, and other tasty treats are all you want, after all. You'll get that here, but you'll also be able to find other designs that are less expensive and easier to live with.

As soon as I cooked with it one time, the drain spout weld began leaking grease.

The fryer is an excellent value for the price
4/5

Fryers for my outdoor kitchen were on my wishlist We should be able to make it We've arranged a place for it, even though the spacing and exhaust requirements make it tough. Because of its basic construction and the amount of frying it gets from 2, I like it. The oil is 5 gallons. The oil is relatively easy to drain into my filter and to remove with a hose. It is approximately 3 inches from the drain valve to the bottom. You have to wipe out the last bit of the bottom since the spout is about 8 inches above the bottom, however it is much easier then a flat bottom and the hot oil is more efficient thanks to the heat exchanger. The movie is worth watching A great value at this price - completely manual, but a lot of functionality for the price The system works well, it works as expected. I added a street elbow (90 degree bend) to drain into the oil filter which makes it easier to drain, as standard 1" pipe fittings fit well.

I have fried fish for 7 days now and the oil is still looking and performing Our fishing trips to Canada have led me to fry a great deal of fish
4/5

The turkey that we had been using up until this last trip was cooked in an outdoor turkey fryer. In the beginning, it did what it was advertised to do. Our oil did not need to be changed after using it for at least 7 times. To perform this maintenance, I merely opened the drain valve for about 3 seconds to clean out the crumbs at the bottom and then filtered the oil back into The only complaint I have is that the unit is much louder than a turkey fryer. Though it seems to be fairly efficient when it comes to propane consumption, we were concerned about how much it would consume. We love the thermometer built into the convection oven. The thermometer should never go missing, and shouldn't interfere with the cooking process. As there is a lot of heat going out the exhaust, I would not mind the exhaust heating a small metal plate that acts as a side burner, but that is not what the exhaust It is also a shame that the oil drain hose accessory isn't included. Although I'm sure that it would have worked fine to use it, I think it was best to use a pan under the drain valve instead. It is possible I will buy a new fryer for home once I return from the fishing camp. It might make sense to upgrade to a four gallon tank.
