It was impossible for me to smell anything. As a matter of fact, I am actually using it in a kiln to fuse glass without noticing Stone that is very smooth and nice to the touch.
It is safe and healthy because it is made from cordierite. Make sure to place it on the shelf inside the oven rather than the floor when placing it in the
I would like to let you know that our pizza stone is about 15 x 12 This pizza stone fits inside a standard oven with an interior measurement of 18 by 24 inches
When you make a round pizza, you can just cover the pizza stone with 12 or 10 inches, but if you are making a rectangular pizza, you can cover it completely with 15 by 12

There have been reports that the stone smells at first, but it only does so It could be said that this is a "break-in". My first step was to remove any dust by wiping it off, then I put mine in a cold oven and set the temperature After leaving it to bake for over an hour, I turned off the oven and let it cool until the next morning. During the first heating, there was some smell, but this has since gone away. I made some very good ciabatta bread as you can see by the picture This pizza has a perfectly cooked crust and chewy inside. Unless I bake or roast something too large, I will just keep it in the oven for the time being. After trying out the stone, I am sold. At first I was skeptical, but I am now a fan. The purchase was fantastic.
You're the best.
There is more weight to this pizza stone than to the one it is As of now, I have only used it once to make a pizza, but the crust turned out great! While I forgot to put cornmeal on the stone (only on the peel), the pizza still didn't stick to it Wishing to continue pizza nights for a long time to come!.
Everything went according to plan. Everything was neatly packaged upon arrival. The thickness is nice and the work is good. It is important to bear in mind that this type of pizza stone is porous, so it will not hold well to heat For baking bread with steam, this method is ideal. Pizza, on the other hand, is very well suited for the intended use. The method is also effective when cooking focaccia and breads that do not need.
I bought this so I can put it The size of the pizza and its thickness result in a nice, crispy pizza. The fact that I use it almost every day is making day old pizza taste so much better when it is warmed up on this. A round one that is not as thick as this one is also available. As a result of its thickness, it holds heat well.
It is sturdy and less likely to crack (I have it for about 2 months and I have seen no signs of stress, but who knows how long it will hold up). The only trouble I have with it may or may not be just me, but it doesn't get as hot as any On some occasions, bread dough and pizza dough have not cooked as well on the bottom as they should. I don't see it every single time, but enough times to get the impression that there's a problem. I do run my oven at 475 and let it sit for at least 45 minutes before using, ensuring I use it properly (it is still very hot mind you, but I would expect it to be hotter for something as thick as that). Although, I would rather have something that won't crack in a month than something that will. However, it is a good product overall.
It's big enough for baking but not too big It's a perfect fit for our free standing stove to convert it into our part-time You're the best.
It is good thickness and size for baking bread. I have been using it successfully. As well as being easy to clean.
