I'm not sure what gauge the bars are, but they appear to be comparable to the originals and have performed admirably since they were installed. This book comes highly recommended. It also improves the flavor of the food.

Given the description of porcelain enameled, I expected it to have a thick finish similar to the Weber ones, but it didn't appear to be like the original, which had a glossy black paint finish. such as the end result I was tempted to keep them because they were so cheap, but some of the edges were bare metal with whatever finish was missing due to packaging or who knows what. Given the finish appeared suspect, and all three I examined closely had some nicks with exposed metal (on edges or around the hole), I promptly returned to Amazon. Maybe it was just a bad batch, but you decided to try something else.
These are a perfect replacement for my old flavorizer bars, which were on the verge of disintegrating due to use. I haven't lit up the grill since installing them, so I can't comment on durability. They appear to be quite durable, however. The only thing I would advise anyone buying replacement bars to do is measure the ones that came with their grill. Also, be precise with your measurements, as there are a variety of size options that may reference your grill model but do not actually fit it. Because I used a measuring tape before placing my order, these do fit my needs.
Markers were used to touch up the enamel chips. This is a great product. Sooo far. But I noticed that the enamel on all bars had chipped in the same spot, so I used a black marker to cover it (which came off with alcohol) and retouched them. I'll keep an eye on these to see if they don't rust out in the next 5 years - life expectancy of oem flavorizer bars They are a perfect fit. They are a little short in length and width, but they fit well and do not fall through.
For years, I looked for them in big-box stores in my neighborhood. They were always too short or didn't fit in the big-box stores. These bars are a perfect match for my grill and have brought it back to its former glory. I would strongly suggest it.
I had no idea the bars in there were so bad. Just vaporizers with grease! It is less expensive than purchasing a new grill because it transforms the old one into a new one.
We didn't want to part with our 20-year-old Weber grill, so we bought new parts to give it a makeover. We're up and running again!.
It helped stop the flame ups I was getting with the old ones, which was better than paying $50 for Weber ones that did the same thing.
I would suggest it.
