Questions & Answers

What are the tubes' and crossover's lengths?

The side burners' tubes are 28" long, while the middle burner's tubes are 27 1/4". 12 1/4 inch is the diameter of the crossover tube. All of the measurements are approximate, but they are fairly close. I had the same question because it says 30 in the dimensions section. 2"x2. The dimensions of the box they come in are 5"x3". It's been installed in my Genesis Silver B (2001) and it's working great!

Is this going to work with my Weber Genesis S310, which is about 10-inches tall? Do you have a 12-year-old?

The suggestion to call Weber's 800 number for assistance in confirming information for older models is fantastic! I'm looking for replacement burners for a 20-year-old Genesis Silver B, but finding information was impossible (the label was worn out years ago, and there was nothing in the manual). Weber was wonderful and patient in helping me figure out what was wrong with my 20-year-old grill. (btw- If anyone else is having trouble finding that spec, the burner part for this unit is 10460).

Is there a difference between lp and ng burner tubes?

No, the burners are identical; the only difference is in the control valves.

Is there an installation manual included with this burner?

Yes, there are instructions included with the burners. I did, however, watch a few videos on You Tube and learned a few tricks and shortcuts, such as not having to remove the outside burner bolts as some have done. The old burners simply slide out from beneath the bolt heads, and the new ones slide right in.

It makes a difference to use heavier burners
5/5

These burners were more expensive than off brand ones but I noticed before buying that they were 50% heavier than the off brand ones I noticed before buying that they were 50% he That, it turns out, is crucial. They're made of thicker steel and appear to be quite effective. Installing was simple, and my burners perform as well as, if not better than, when they were brand new. I've owned this Weber Genesis B Grill since 2003, and I've already replaced the burners. Because the grill's body is still in near-new condition, I'm guessing I'll have to replace the burners on a regular basis. I also changed out the "Flavor Bars" and the "igniter. " The old "Igniter" was still functional, so I thought it would be a good idea to replace it. The new one gets off to a more fluid start.

I'd had enough of it
5/5

In order to maintain the quality of your Weber grill, only use genuine Weber parts. After installing an off-brand burner tube last year and being dissatisfied with the results, I decided to try these genuine Weber burner tubes this year, and wow, what a difference! In the off-season, the air shutters are closed. The brand (Hongsgo SBG508) is poorly designed, and despite multiple attempts to improve the airflow adjustment, I was never able to achieve a good hot blue flame. I turned on the gas, opened the valve, pushed the ignitor button, and watched as a perfect HOT blue flame spread across the burner tube with these 7508's (which arrived in a Weber brand box). I turned on the other two burner tubes' valves and saw the same even blue flame. I am ecstatic! There's a reason I've been a Weber fan for the 11 years I've had this grill, so putting non-Weber parts on it just doesn't make sense. It has Weber components in it. When compared to the cost of a new grill, the price of these burners is a steal that will provide Weber performance for many years.

This was something I should've done a year ago
5/5

My Weber Genesis Silver B, which I purchased in 2001, began to struggle to heat quickly and all the way to 600 degrees last year. I knew something was wrong when the grill never got hotter than 400 degrees last week. When I disassembled the grill and examined the flame, I noticed that it was a light yellow color. In addition, the bar connecting the three main burners was not transferring the flame from one bar to the next. br>br>I purchased this set on Amazon and had it installed today. You must disassemble the grill, which includes removing the control panel, the manifold, disconnecting the gas, removing the flavor bars and grates, and so on. After I had everything uninstalled, I dragged mine out into the yard and pressure washed it. I went all stainless this time, so the flame coming out of the new burners is blue and very hot, and I installed the new burners, new flavor bars, new grates, etc. after it dried. I also replaced the starter, and the grill started up quickly and easily, with the flame being transferred from one burner to the next by the bar that connects the three burners. It brought back memories of the first time I bought it. It took about 5 minutes for the grill to reach 500 degrees. From before, it was like night and day. br>br>You might think I'm crazy for spending $160 on grill parts when some grills are only $160 for the whole thing. I'm confident that my Silver B will last at least another 5 years, and I adore it. Who knows when the parts for these grills will be discontinued. br>br>Anyway, if you have a Weber gas grill that is older than 6 years and you haven't replaced the burners yet, and you're experiencing any of the symptoms I described, don't hesitate to replace them. It's simple to do, and it makes a big difference.

The Weber Genesis Silver c has been restored to its former glory
5/5

My Weber began to have issues last season, after 16 years of service. I spent about $100 over the years. Replace the flavorizer bars and spend $00 on cooking grates. It's still looking fantastic. I power wash it every season to keep it clean on the outside, and I clean the interior a few times a season to keep it clean on the inside. I planned on replacing it with a new Weber Genesis this season. They cost a little more than the competition, but 16 years of trouble-free service speaks for itself. br>About a week ago, I started cleaning the firebox on my grill and noticed that the burner tube connecting the three main burners was missing a large piece right over the second burner. I estimated that it would cost less than $60. It was worth a shot at $00 for a Weber replacement stainless steel burner kit rather than spending over $1000. A new grill will set you back $00. It was the best 60 dollars I've ever spent. 00 I have invested in a long time, and my grill is now working as well as it did the day I bought it.

Weber Spirit E310 is compatible with this grill
5/5

These were purchased to replace the burners on my Weber Spirit E310 gas grill, which was manufactured in 2010. They were made for each other. They came in Weber packaging, so I assume they're original equipment parts. I spent a little more than an hour on the job, but I also spent some time cleaning the interior while the burners were out. On a greasy old grill, replacement is a messy job, but it's not technically difficult. It was easier for me because I had the original manual. The instructions that come with the parts are generic, which may make them more difficult to understand.

It is simple to set up
5/5

I considered following-up with- I considered buying aftermarket burner tubes, but since the originals lasted nearly 20 years, I decided to pay the extra $15 or so for the OEM product, which comes with clear instructions. It wasn't difficult to remove the old components and replace them with new ones. Just make sure the inside of the grill is vacuumed before you begin. When I was finished, the grill was ready to go. With the new burners, I could really tell a difference: If you're not afraid of replacing worn out parts in your Weber, go ahead and get these. The food grilled evenly (just like it did years ago), and the grill heated up quickly.

It's not a bad job; it just takes some time
5/5

These were purchased in the winter and installed the week of June 6th, 2017. The Weber Genesis Silver C with side burner is what I have. br>br>Note: If you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words "creative Instead of following their instructions, I followed the instructions that came with my Weber grill, which included a quick section on how to replace them. I felt like I was taking almost the entire grill apart with the burner instructions, but you don't have to. br>I was surprised that after 11 years of use, and cooking in the winter with it while brushing off the snow and ice, the old burners were still in good shape; the cross over pipe was the issue, but the grill is now as good as new.
