BEFORE you install the inlet box, make sure the wiring is in good condition. The pre-installed wires connect to the L14-internal I had a 30 PLUG that was incorrectly wired. The colours, red and white, had been reversed! Other than that, the inlet box performed as described and worked well, once I rewired the internal leads.

It has an extremely sturdy construction It is well made and set up in an intelligent manner. Despite being exposed to the elements, the cord plug is protected. I am extremely pleased with this I will definitely purchase again when I set up my next generator at home.
My search for a generator connection box had only turned up this one which has a bottom connection, it is the most water-proof one. It is a must-have box for anyone using a generator in bad weather. Think about it, is a generator necessary when the weather is nice?.
