It shrinks quite a bit

The size of the ring shrinks After my husband mowed the row, the next day the staples were ripped up and the fabric was twisted in half, so I assumed that he struck the row with the lawnmower. Not at all. Even trying to stretch it back, I can't get it to stretch back. Sun exposure caused me to reduce my height from 36" (barely) to 28" and I lost about a 1/2 inch. The staples all came out, because I cut 5 feet off the run, which caused the 70 foot run to be cut short.
