I like the way it is. A second roll of paper has just been ordered. I have used more expensive weed barriers in the past, but this is the best I've found. There is not much fraying on this shirt.
So far, I have not faced this issue. However, I am not sure if critters would not be able to eat through it since it is tougher than basic cloth.

My garden is enclosed with raised beds, so this roll of weed barrier will be used within them. After receiving your package, I was pleasantly surprised at the heavy weight of the fabric. customer service I had with the past two rolls I purchased locally was nowhere near this new roll's quality. It is used in my raised bed planters to prevent weed growth. As well as using it with invasive plants like my raspberry bushed and the dill I just planted, I use it with my raspberry bushed. By doing so, they cannot spread to areas where they are not wanted. In the near future, I plan on ordering more.
The cover of this book is nice and heavy and went down easily. As a result of its weight, it is caution is that it doesn't seem to be very effective at percolating water so if you have a bush or tree you need to water, leave an opening around the base so you can run a hose to it.
This year I did not have to weed any of my flower beds since last year I put it down in all of them. So, I give it a 5 star rating, because who hasn't liked to weed in the past? It's not the same for me. This material was used last year in two or three flower beds where I had a lot of flower beds.
