Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use this as a weed barrier in a large vegetable garden at home?

That would certainly appear to be the case Our fabric was bought to put under gravel for a road track, and I think a side benefit is that nothing (weeds) will grow in the road area where the fabric is.

Does this product allow air to pass through it?

Weaving is the method of creating the fabric. On it, I have not seen any water stands.

"If the edges of the cut are frayed, how will it look?" Without adding any mulch or other surface material, can it be used as a path in the garden? Growing season would only cause it to be down. ?

However, there is a minimal amount of fraying along the edges. Ours is covered with bark mulch in our garden walk way, but we also use it as a border between lithodoras hanging over a low wall and a neighbor's mowed yard. I am pleased with the product, though after a couple years it has been punctured by a few weeds that are very persistent. The paths in the neighbor's garden are used to facilitate a number of activities.

Do you have the option of laying down fabric over the aggregate then having a truck roll over it as the aggregate is dropped?

It is also available in wider versions of WF200, which is woven polyethylene material, if you require this material for roads that will carry large trucks. It is 54 feet long x 12 feet wide. Amazon carries a "Driveway Scrub" that is 54 feet long x 12 feet wide. The object was 5 ft wide, 17 lbs, and weighed 19,000 pounds. The weight was 95 pounds. When I purchased it about 2009, I paid with Amazon. However, I do not see it on Amazon at the present time. was available through Mutual Industries in the past. It was model 200-- the part number can be found on the Models page. It is 125-150 The UPC number for this product is 764083200541, while the EAN number is i jotted down this information in my phone memos years ago and hope it is correct . i jotted it down in my phone memos a long time ago. i think it is not wide enough for the 6 ft wide material. I was told that to be used as a sub-base for pavers for a driveway or patio, the material should be overlapped by 2 feet, and centered beneath the pavers. Support should be 16 inches on all sides. *br> *br>With a 12 inch width. If you cover 5 feet wide material with gravel edge to edge, the available path is between 9 and 10 feet wide (down the middle). In this scenario, you'd want to use the 6 ft wide material with two ft of material overlapped in the middle for an 8 ft wide material. Again, you would want to avoid the edges and your actual weight bearing path would be 5 to 6 feet wide. There is no way to accept this. The failure of the program will cost you money and frustrate you.

The product the company shipped has been changed from the one they advertised, and it does not match the product they are shipping
3/5

The product I received for this order was completely different from what was advertised. This is the third time I've ordered this product in the last 2 years. In place of the geotextile fabric shown in the picture, I received weed barrier fabric.

There is a large discrepancy between the amount of product delivered and the description of the product
3/5

I was concerned from other reviews about the amount of linear feet actually included (300' like the product description or 200' at the time that several other buyers said it was included). Consequently, I ordered a second roll of film to make sure I would have enough for my project. The images shown are what they appeared to be when they arrived--just like they were when they arrived. There has been no opening or use of either. It was lighter on the first roll and had a diameter of 6", whereas it was considerably heavier on the second roll. Having said that, this is not a critique of the quality of the product, only of.

It was stated that the product would be 300 ft, but it was merely As stated in the product description, this was a 300 ft item but it was only 200 ft in fact
3/5

When I hired someone to do a 300 ft landscaping project, they fell short by 100 feet and I had to purchase an inferior product locally to finish the job.

240 feet is the actual length of our roll
3/5

According to the length of the roll, it is significantly shorter than the 300ft that was We have lost several days because of this, and our project is now a week behind schedule.

Taking care of the packaging nightmare
3/5

Over the past 10 years, we have ordered and used thousands of feet of this floor covering. I just ordered 1200 more feet of PVC last week to use in our landscape project. The new packaging is awful. This used to be rolled up. The easiest way to do so was to roll it out, pin it down, and then move In this case, the order was If the wind is blowing, imagine spreading 300 feet by 48 feet of the geotextile while you're trying to fasten, and quickly becoming airborne as a human kite. While this may be an advantage for shipping, it makes a landscaping project a nightmare for consumers. I will order this from Amazon for the last time. Sorry for being so disappointed & disappointed The customer was not satisfied.

Make sure you are on the right track
4/5

The product is hard for me to rate, so I'm not going to do it. I first want to point out that the fabric itself is incredible. In the process of building this garden, we covered an area that is to be covered with crushed rocks, then raised garden beds will be constructed on top. In addition, it provides an excellent level of coverage over grass and weeds, and was easy to roll out and staple down. There was a problem here because it was very clear that this was not 300 feet high. The ship was less than 200 feet long, at most. That's a third less than Due to that, I had to order another roll of fabric from this seller, who stated that the fabric will take one week to arrive After paying $114 for this roll I had to make this roll wait a total of 2 weeks, which got in the way of my schedule a lot and caused me a bill of $31. Therefore, a great product, but not as great a quality control system. In my opinion, this product is a 4 star product but it would be a 5-star product if the roll would have been full.

A thin tarp material at a low price
3/5

I agree with the previous reviewers. This is a thin, light, cheap tarp material at a high price. This is not the original gravel road material. In spite of my hesitation, I ordered it. I measured it and took pictures of it for you so you could see for yourself The thickness of this material is 6 thousands of an inch. There is a 14 thousandth of an inch thickness in my old material. A green tarp that costs less than $10 is as thick as this material at six thousandths of an inch. It should be half the price since you can buy tarps at harbor freight for less than this stuff, and I don't even believe it is 300 feet long since others report that it is around 200 feet. A very disappointing experience.

Please beware of these
3/5

A 300' reel is not included as described on the listing. This is a real I like the product very much. It's durable and takes a long time to wear off. It may sound like there are 300', but don't count on it! This was also stated in some reviews before I made my purchase. The incident I experienced was merely a fluke, and I would likely get a 300' elevation. In the end I spent $170 more and lost two hours on the job because I made a mistake.
