I agree that the weed barrier is extremely strong and has good water permeation
Thanks for reaching out to me, dear customer. Woven PP fabric is used to make this weed barrier, and the black color resists UV rays. Here is my answer. I hope it is helpful.

It is important to note that this material will shrink by about 3 inches after warming At 80 degrees F I rolled it out, and when it reached 90 degrees F it shrunk about 3 inches in length and 1 inch.
As I don't normally write negative reviews, this landscaping fabric frayed at such an extent after carefully placed and secured last Fall that it was not worth purchasing It's the worst. In this photograph, "finished edges" of the fabric can be seen Even though the ends are doubled, they're cut Even worse were the ones under and secured with landscaping pins. Despite the warning that the product might have "minor imperfections," I found them irritating Every six inches or so, about 3" wide slits are made in the middle of the weave A dozen of those so-called "minor imperfections" were discovered It has never happened to me before in all my years of gardening that a product is so cheap, poorly made.
The plastic weed barrier is used for weed control. The only reason why I wouldn't recommend it for cutting holes in plants is because water cannot get through the barrier as they do at some other weed barriers. However, I highly recommend it between rows and walkways.
Worked fine, but no longer works.
A good product with a very intuitive interface. It is very helpful to cut and lay out fabric with the green grid lines.
We used this product to get rid of weeds in my backyard and it appears to be very durable and strong compared to other products we've tried in the past.
The only way I could give it zero stars is if I could. The shipping delays and shortages caused by COMID caused me to order it in February. It would be easier for me if I had tomatoes ready to plant in advance. This one caught my attention specifically because it stated it would be permeable to air and water. This is such a dishonest statement! The rain will not get to the tomato roots if it does fall. The Amazon return policy only allows me to return an item for up to 30 days, even though I have tried it for the first time today. The time and money I wasted were not worth it. In this instance, you are using the product the same way that you would use tarpaulin to keep water from getting into something. They need to stand by their customers and stop protecting fraudulent sellers with terms and conditions.
Ground covers made from cloth are much less durable and last a shorter time.
