In this case, the fabric should be 3 oz per yard. Instead of 5 oz per yard. The 5 oz per yard fabric would be heavier.
Drainage seems to be quite good.
I see no reason not to. Materials used in this product are resistant to wear and tear.
That's right! The ones I had all fit into narrow window boxes, so I cut up the leftovers. Who cares if it's just frayed around the edges?

The first stage of the project is going well. Two of these were used in my front yard, where no grass was present and bushes and mulch filled in the space. I believe the weeds have not come through in about 3 weeks, which is a great sign that we are doing something right. Due to the fact that I had to cut around a few bushes, it was easy to cut. To be on the safe side, I used lawn stakes to hold it in place. In the future I would buy this product again
Update I have used barriers from big box stores and Lowes before using this one and it is hands down the best barrier I have ever used The two of them. In the depot. It is extremely disappointing to see weeds growing through them. There has not been a weed growing through these barriers since they were installed. The only product I recommend over any other is the one I purchased last year.
Gardening is not for you! As soon as it's cut, it starts unraveling along the cut, and then you're dealing with strands of it in your garden. As a result of the weave, invasive plants like Bermuda Grass will grow under the edges for up to a foot or longer, then push their way through the weave and end up growing Do not use it if you are dealing with Bermuda. You can get better non-alcoholic drinks These are the woven items I've been buying and using at garden stores and on Buy a sturdy material such as this, and not a loosely woven one.
The first time I ordered two different lightweight landscape fabrics 6 months ago was for comparison since I was planning to need a large quantity of fabric to cover the large Texas sun and no mulch on top make these plants very vulnerable to damage. Just sweeping the leaves off it a week ago did the trick. Weeds do not appear on this fabric, it is very sturdy and looks great. It seems to catch things on the surface and I haven't been able to clean it off. The other one is full of small weeds and the surface seems to catch things (a "two-layer" one). Therefore, I have re-ordered this item. I didn't specify that I needed them in a day, but I had them in a day. That's what I chose! I later added It tends to unravel at the edges, but that's its only drawback. In order to keep it together, I'm going to use tape. Other than that, it is holding up well. There was more in my order A hole was found in one, but it was quickly fixed by Amazon. I cut off almost a foot at one end, to get the square I needed - another was cut at an angle at one end and I had to remove almost a foot. That is a return that should have been made as well. It has been almost a year since the original ones, but they are still good.
In the ad, it is stated that it is good at permeabilizing water. There is a high likelihood it is not By pouring water on it I tested how fast it passes, and was quite disappointed with the result. In my photo, you can see that water does not permeate through to the other side. The product looks heavy duty as far as its durability is concerned. There is a water draining issue, and I think it will have to be returned.
It is rare that I write a review that is not related to how satisfied or disappointed I am with something. Having tried several different weed blockers in the past, I was glad to finally invest in a heavy duty weed blocker that will last. However, after just 2 1/2 weeks, I am already seeing weeds growing through the weed blocker and will have to pull it up. My disappointment at the outcome of having spent so many hours laying the blocker is deep.
When we purchased a house, the landscape had not been handled in years. This product was laid down after trimming down and raking out the mugwort at surface level. It did a great job. I left it down for about 4 months through to the fall, and all areas were free of weeds then, which gave us ample time to lay on Eco grass, which grew right away in the empty spaces. The rug is not meant to be walked on all day long as an idiot in the videos clearly covered his deck with what is During winter in the Northeast US, the heater has managed to survive without cracking or breaking down. In my opinion, if you are a crop grower and you require something you can constantly walk on, getting a cloth like substitution would be the best option. I especially liked how easy it is to lay and work with and keep in mind that we live on a hillside. I also must advise those idiots who lay it over huge weeds without trimming them first, you're an idiot and should probably use 4mil black plastic instead.
The plant might work if it is completely buried and never exposed to the sun, but if any of the plant material is exposed, it will crumble and disappear, and the plant will be overtaken by weeds. In contrast to other weed fabrics I have used, these fabrics have not broken down even if they are left uncovered for 15 years or more!.
