I'm not sure what I'm saying. The Dramm 82342 400AL Heavy Duty Water Breaker has standard garden hose threads; I'm not sure if the ColorMark Rain Wand's threads are the same or different. I used the Water Breaker on the end of a garden hose. This year, I'm going to add a piece of PVC pipe to the garden watering system to extend the reach. That Water Breaker is a well-made and high-quality product, delivering a large volume of water in a short amount of time.
In addition to this, you should purchase a brass shutoff valve to turn off the water when you are not watering. Some of these are wands that have a shut-off mechanism. The water breaker at the hose end is connected to the off valve on the handle. I have both and wouldn't be able to water without one of them! This is a product that should be used for a very long time.
My 1/2-inch hose and 3/4-inch hose both have the same Dramm Nozzle fitting. I believe the hose is the only thing that differs in size, and the fittings are all the same. I hope this has been of assistance.
A variety of factors will influence the GPM. The capacity of your hose and the pressure coming from your house are the two most important factors. A high GPM could be achieved under ideal conditions, such as a 3/4" hose with a length of 50 feet or less and a water pressure of 60 psi. For that information, I'd approach Dramm.

I like how gentle the drenching is with this nozzle, but I need a wand and a shutoff valve to go with it. I've found that most wands for sale don't allow you to disassemble the nozzle end so you can attach it. I'll need a wand to keep the foliage from getting wet and to extend my reach; I need a shutoff so I don't have to kink the hose to stop the flow of water. Please, someone recommend the Amazon items that are required parts. I'd give this nozzle 5 stars if the necessary items were available, but it's a bit of a pain to use right now. This water breaker distributes as much water as a fully open hose without the washout effect, but the materials used in its construction are questionable, and it should never be left outside (see photo). On the packaging, there is a "Warning": Because the brass in this product contains lead and other contaminants, it is recommended that you wash your hands after handling it.
This nozzle has left me a little disappointed. Because there are so many water holes, the stream that emerges is weak and/or gentle. You can only get 12 to 18 inches of reach if you hold it horizontally, and the water pattern is only about 2 1/2 feet in diameter at waist height, so you have to keep it close to whatever you're watering.

Manufacturers, please note: Simply let me know if you'd like me to review your products. This head replaces the plastic head that came with my wand. That worked fine for a while, but the plastic nozzle cracked after being dropped several times. We should probably be more cautious, but this is a hose, after all. In any case, I was sold when I went looking for a replacement and came across this. Very well made, fits perfectly, and appears to be durable enough to last a long time. I'm considering purchasing another of these wands, with the same nozzle.
I've been curious about how big-box stores water their plants without harming them. I've tried one sprinkler head after another, but they're all either too powerful or don't work at all when the pressure is reduced. I decided to try the Dramm water breaker nozzle after doing a lot of research on the internet. Wow! What a stark contrast. I get a nice drenching stream that isn't harmful to my plants. There are less expensive options available, but as I previously stated, none of them satisfied me. None of them appear to be able to perform as well as this one. I suppose what you pay for is what you get.
I really like the spray pattern that this nozzle produces. It's gentle and effective on plants with delicate foliage, as advertised. I believe the one person who has issues is the one whose skin is shiny, and this review is inaccurate. Because the nozzle that came with the wand I purchased was partially made of plastic, I decided to purchase this one to replace it. Although the nozzle was still functional, signs of wear around the rim suggested that it might fail, similar to how another nozzle on another wand had broken on the sides. This nozzle is well-made, made of metals, and appears to be tough enough to withstand daily use under the wrath of God. I have yet to come across another product that compares in terms of quality and capability.
