I'm not sure what I'm saying. They can hold a lot of water. It accomplishes what it was designed to do. It's not an issue.
Yes, they're thin, and their purpose is to catch water and protect the surface. They're not made of hard plastic, so if you fill them with water and carry them across the room, they'll bend. They're perfect for putting under potted plants and, depending on the size, can be picked up with the pot. They have ridges that allow water from the pot to fall below and evaporate, preventing the roots from sitting in water. They were exactly what I was looking for!

I was planning on buying some plastic plates instead, but I'm glad I went with these. They're deep enough to collect runoff. They're more durable than regular plastic plates, and they don't degrade as quickly in the sun. I've only had them for a couple weeks, but I'm already very pleased with them; they're rigid enough that I can carry them with a pot inside. br>My only complaint is that they are difficult to separate because they come in a stack that is difficult to separate. I'm still stumped as to how to separate them all, so I'm going to try using plyers.

Perfect - I got exactly what I wanted, and at a lower cost than the big box stores, which haven't had them in stock in weeks. These aren't the best hard plastic drip pans for plants (which isn't what I was looking for). These are a little more flexible, and they fit nicely in the wheeled plant caddies that I use on my porch to store my larger potted plants - I simply replace them as needed every year or so.
