There are ferns hung from them and wrought iron baskets. I could not be more pleased with the results! The pictures are hung on swivel hooks made of cast iron. Amazon had all of the supplies I needed for this hanging basket project. This set of components works extremely well together and each one is of high quality. It's so good that I even bought a couple hooks to hang my bird feeders in the trees around my yard. Everything works well with this product. Because the hooks we bought more than a year ago are so high quality, I bought more this year for my heavy bird baths, windchimes, and other large items. Feeders that consume a large amount of food.

As a birdhouse hanger, I needed a small 'S' shaped hook that would hold the house over a relatively thin but strong branch. This hook is not too long that the house hangs too low, but it is large enough to cover a branch when necessary. It proved to be such a great tool for me that I have purchased a few more. I have no doubt that any of them will cause the objects to fall off, whether it's a hanging plant, wind chimes, etc. The hooks are strong and sturdy, so I have no doubt that anything that is hung on them will do so. With the birdhouses, this is especially important.
