Product Description

There's no need to trade off style or function because we have had a lot of fun working on the details of this hand-forged hook to make it stylish, strong, and durable. An elegant, modern look can be achieved with a long, curvy body. Your ornaments will be securely mounted on the tapered tip, which is curved under and up for enhanced security.

The hook is very decorative and big. There is 11 inches distance between the edge of the hook on the outside and the point where you attach it. 13 and 3/4" is the length of the backplate.

I love how easy it is It is easy to install the top screw and offers extra support and strength due to the elongated backplate. For attaching your hook to a deck, fence, post, wall, or tree, just use the two coated, black screws that come with it. Black powder and rust-resistant coatings keep your hook protected and enhance its durability and appearance for years as it acclimates to the elements in your backyard, patio, or garden.

A multipurpose product. There are many uses for this hook (some people call it a big bracket). We have installed kissing balls, wind chimes, wind spinners, lights, lanterns, bird feeders, bird houses, flower pots, and planters with it. There are (almost) no limits to what you can do!

Are you able to use this with hard popcorn walls?

You will need to anchor anything this substantial to a stud behind popcorn wall if you wish to hang it.

How does the hook curve measure in terms of its interior diameter? Is it possible to fit a 1/2-sized person inside One inch or three quarters of an inch Does the pipe need to be an inch?

You should be able to do that I have a hook that's one inch wide at the widest point and is one inch wide at the bottom (narrowest part). There are two of them and they differ by a very small amount.

The distance between the holes of the mounting plate is what? would like to utilize two mounting holes 11" apart. How do I go about this?

This steel mount is 18" long. I'm not sure how far the mounting holes are apart, but they are 12" apart. There are holes in more than 1/2" from each end, so I'd imagine you are not able to use the existing holes in the mount. That means you would have to drill new mount holes or to drill a new hole in the mount to fit the hole you have already. You will use this mount to cover the hole in your vehicle currently not being used. Right now, it is hard to get to this plant bracket since it is on an outbuilding.

What are your options for nailing it into the trunk of a tree?

Is there a reason not to? A larger tree trunk diameter would be best suited to this kit since it comes with screws and can be screwed on to any flat surface.

Here's what's changed one year after you purchased it It appears as if the black paint on this hook has faded uniformly to a medium gray color. It is not a harsh climate here in the Mediterranean. Unfortunately, the hook looks very old and dingy because of this. I wrote my original review as follows It is not a surprise that this is an exceptionally strong, iron hook that is great to hang wind chimes, plants, wind spinners, and so much more. These Bird Feeders are an easy way to start your own backyard or indoor ecosystem Adding décor to the outdoors. This is a very helpful feature from UpBlend that gives us examples of how to use hooks. As well as the instructions, they include a few creative ones. Despite some slight imperfections the hook is strong and the design is a nice break from straight-wire hooks Please use brackets around the lines. A birdhouse of any size can easily be supported on it. I found one small disappointment on the DVD, but it shouldn't discourage you from purchasing Two thick, heavy screws hold the hook together quite well, even with weights up to approximately 40 pounds. There are hooks on a rope, but the wires are unpainted metal. The heads were a bit too big to fit into the recessed holes in the bracket, so they couldn't be sealed tightly. In other words, we are very satisfied with the hook, and look forward to buying again from this company in the future.

The hanger is very sturdy and attractive. A wind chime that weighs at least 6 pounds or more is hanged on it very well, and it is sturdy. It was very difficult to drill the holes in the brick for the hooks to be attached! The picture for the diameter question has been added.

If you purchase more than one, be cautious because they are not consistent

I love the design, the product is very substantial and it is a A client ordered two of the handsome planters for a garden, but when I hung them, I noticed the plants It took some time before I realized the hooks were different one had a 1/4 inch difference in height. After removing and raising that entire hook to 1/4 inch from the wall, it wasn't drooping anymore but after a few days it became constricted. Other hooks worked fine and both planters are no more than 100 pounds total, separating into two hooks of 50 pounds each. As I didn't want to put a third set of holes in my client's wall, I got a strong friend to bend it so they were even. It droops again because of that hook. The only reason I bought another brand new one is to match my existing one and to make sure it won't deform. Getting embarrassed, annoying and frustrating is becoming increasingly difficult.

The plant holder is excellent. Despite its heavy and sturdy construction, it is reasonably priced. There appears to be plenty of room for weight to rest on it. A small feeder for hummingbirds will be hung on the side end of my deck with this. It was as popular with the Hummers as it was with A second one was needed so I bought one to match on the other side. The second installment was just as fantastic as the first. The majority of my birdfeeder stations or Sheperds hooks are on my property. I had to do something when there was so much fighting between the Hummer feeders when I had four of them on the birdfeeder station. Using this hanger and placing them on Shepard's hooks I've been able to put them on opposing sides of the deck. Despite the hanger's fair price and well-made construction, I highly recommend it.

I find it pretty, but it's not very useful

have hung a bird feeder from this branch, but it is too near the tree to work. It is easy for squirrels to get to In order to use it as a place to hang a bird feeder, it would need to be at least 6" away from the mounting area. It is even used as a feeder for hummingbirds. As a result, I am afraid my squirrels will become diabetic. I suppose it could be used for a plant. This is a very small plant, as it is hanging way, way, way too close to the tree/wall to which it is attached. I found the design to be poor.

Those hooks are fantastic! I really love them. It's so good that I bought two! The wind chimes I have are unusually heavy, so I needed something sturdy to hang them from. These will be perfect. I was very pleased with this product and I will definitely order more when I need them. Thank you.

It still looks great even when they are turned upside down. That seems to be the best choice because they live in a windy area. It is heavy, easy to hang, is of great quality, and is It is my intent to order more of them and hang them in another location exactly as shown in the photo.
