Could you use a water bottle to accomplish this?

I did not test it with a plastic water bottle. I think it would work with a long neck bottle (mineral water). In addition to clear bottles, I also used colored The color of colored glass proved to make the water last longer. Please accept my sincere thanks for your help

These spikes served the purpose effectively. All of my plants were thoroughly watered before the spikes were inserted. After receiving one of the spikes, which was damaged upon receipt, I emailed the company as instructed in the information card that came with it. Replacing the item was fast and easy! Make sure you reach out to them if you have a broken spike. You can count on them to assist you. I am updating on my review as of 8/8/2019. These spikes have been on my feet for a little more than a month now and are still working great! After I received a replacement spike for the one damaged in shipping, I was very happy with it. I apologize for its state when I placed it inside the planter for the first time. To see if there is a replacement, I will contact the company.

My garden is mostly watered with drip emitters, but I always have a problem leaving my potted plants behind if I go on a long weekend/weekend getaway. I have found a solution to The following points should be noted This is *1. Attached is a picture of where I placed these two so that they were easily accessible. Five stakes were used for planting basil and shiso plants in a large planter, and one for planting a flower pot in a flower pot during my two weeks of business travel. In the large planter, however, the bottles were half full when I got home, but the bottles for the flower pot were empty. This keeps the moisture level in check without being overwatered. According to its description, it does exactly what it claims. This is a highly recommended book.

The people in the stores who had never gardened tried to explain what I wanted to three stores. As such, I went to Amazon and searched for "terracotta" and found these As opposed to my few existing models, these can store water for days, rather than hours. I should not have to keep refilling them or watering my plants all day, as I do with the few I currently have. I was able to solve my problem.

That's too much for a house plant! These are huge, I tell you! Plants are far too big to be potted indoors! You may want to grow them in a huge pot, but I can guarantee that if I was to place these babies into even my biggest plant (peace lily) I would kill it from root rot even if the plant didn't topple from a weight of My husband is using these (along with green plastic long neck bottles) for saplings he planted outdoors

And since the glass globes are a bit pricey and the reviews aren't great, I might order the little birds to keep my plants alive while Since I assume them to work fine for the baby trees, I gave them 4 stars. However, be warned, they are not for average plants in the house.

Good customer service, but I had to replace two plants after they cracked when I was gently inserting them into the In response to my inquiries, customer service sent me a new set of In this case, I did not soak the plates in water first, and I inserted them in with a careful back and forth twisting motion, but none of them broke. It seems like our plants are healthy, and I replace the water in the beer bottles about once a week (for aesthetic reasons, we use smaller beer bottles). I'm sure wine bottles would last longer that way. The customer service rating is 5 out of 5.
