The diameter of the hole is about 1/4"
As you watch the water fall, you will notice that it goes down slowly or quickly. This indicates that your soil is very dry if it consistently soaks up water too fast. It appears that I am the only one who sees this. In the stem is all the way to the bottom.
In my experience, not to my knowledge. I live in the hot climate of Arizona, and I use mine for potted plants outdoors. Since those aforementioned few are not on my drip, I am given a few days' flexibility. I adore the large globes, which measure the same width as the palm of my hand. I also appreciate the moisture gauge, which is incredibly handy.
There's no set rule, but I think it depends on the size of the plant and the moisture in the soil. I see no more than two of them in a day on my hibiscus tree.

There was no doubt that this was a product that paid off for me. Upon returning home after being on vacation for a week, I found my plants to be in good shape. For the smaller planters, I used one bulb and for the larger planters, I used two bulbs. The ones I have recommended to family members and friends when they cannot find a neighbor or friend to care for their plants while they are out of town are very effective.
The first thing I did upon receiving them was to put them to the test. Two out of four of my plants had lower levels of water after one day, while the other two did not. Two of the plants in this test were equivalent in terms of soil type and plant One of the reservoirs had a significant drop in water level within 24h while the other had no change. If the packaging contained instructions or recommendations on the best way to place and position them in the plants, that would be helpful. My rating of 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the fact that I don't know how it works, but I am willing to figure out how to make it work in the future. How much dirt do I put on it or how close to the plant should I get to it? It's impossible to say.
It has only been several weeks since I began using the globes for potted flowers, but I am pleased with how they provide additional water. It is specifically the flower boxes on the deck that are placed under the watering globes. Aside from the water, I also like the decorative accent they provide. Fill them up and put them back in the flower boxes easily. As a result, I no longer use my globes for vacation watering, but I find myself using them every day to water the plants.
When the package arrived, no damage was to the glass items inside. The items were timely delivered. The packaging was in excellent condition when the package arrived. Nevertheless, the two-party system has significant shortcomings There is a problem with the way meter I was most looking forward to using. Several times I have tried to read it, but it does not work. I am extremely bummed.
The plants were watered while I was away, which was good for me. My wife says that the bulbs really don't look good. I'd have left them in the plants but she says to keep them out. It seems that she is correct. There is some distraction from the plant's appearance caused by them. We both, though, are glad we won't have to get someone our to water for us any more.
It's really beautiful to look at them. This seems to be a better choice for my outdoor potted plants since they are actually bigger than I expected. Those are solid, thick, tall blown glass bulbs with beautifully contrasting colors. They came in a box with paper inserts and included a moisture meter, so you can just stick the meter in the soil to check if you need to water or not. So you don't overwater your plants, it helps a lot. It would be great to have these in the future! I am also planning to get some smaller ones for my plants indoors.
Glass globes are an excellent means of keeping your plants moist, as well as being beautiful to look at. It is very generous of them to supply the free testing kit for moisture and PH balance in the soil as a free gift.
It is essential that my plants remain happy while I am.
