Thanks for getting in touch. I just tried to fit a glass wine bottle and it didn't fit. It hasn't been tested on "Plant Nanny 6051", but it appears to work.
Considering that the nozzle on 8/16 oz bottles is likely to be a little smaller, it probably will not work. Based on what I have seen on my Blumat package, the bottle size is 2 liters I recommend sticking with that size. This response is provided in the hope of helping.
It can hold up to 2 liters
If you have a tight fit in the opening of the plastic bottle

To begin with, these are very well made and arrived intact (unlike the ones we ordered made of terracotta). When I put them in a 2-inch wheel, they worked, but We tried hanging it in a liter bottle, but it kept tipping over. A 16 turned out to be a good choice for me. I used a 9 oz bottle and even with the leaves fully moistened, the water evaporated in about 18 hours. Not the best solution for a vacation of a week. I don't think this would be a good idea for an indoor plant, or even for a fully stationary outdoor plant (hanging baskets can move), but it might last longer on an indoor plant. On Amazon, I bought a drip irrigation system for 20 bucks, hooked it to an old water timer and installed it. Furthermore, as they are not screwed onto bottles, as indicated in the description, they are not designed to screw on to bottles. The neck of the bottle is tapered so it can insert into the top. As mentioned in the description, you do not cut off the bottom of the bottle. Poking a small hole with a thumbtack was a quick and easy method. There was no way to stop the flood, even with a small hole. Wishing you peace.
My potted plants were watered nine days in a row. I really liked how it worked. Watered my potted plants each day while I was away for 9 days. The smaller set from this seller as well as the larger set were both used by me. Water bottles with Blumats smaller than standard sizes were used Typical soda bottles are 2 liters and are large Blumats. There is a high of 100 degrees here in South Dakota. My plants were in danger of being destroyed in Carolina, so these saved them! I received my order very quickly from the Each vessel was punched with an old ice pick to create a small hole at the bottom. If you hold your finger over the hole when filling the bottle, you'll avoid spills. That's all I have to say! Be sure to thoroughly water your plants before setting them in your garden. They are some of the best available on the market. Every one of them has worked for me.
These were attached to plastic liter bottles to remind me of my absence for 10 days. As the water seeped into the soil, the bottles collapsed gracefully. On one occasion, I found that the plant watering stakes were better at caring for one plant than I was at You did a great job! A pair of stakes connected easily to a water bottle. After reading another review, I drank some water to dampen the clay before burrowing it in the ground as per the suggestion.
There's nothing to like about the universal adapters! The problem now is that I have waited too long and now I As a first step, I put only a pinprick in the top of the bottle that supplies the water to Based on the reviews, I was under the impression that this would slow down the flow of water There's still a problem with the speed of it. The It's not at all clear what the purpose is of the cone, so I'm covering it up partly, as other reviewers have suggested. It should not be necessary for me to do this, but my hopes aren't high. There's no comparison to the classic automatic waterer, so if you have a little bit of space, go for that method!.
It is the perfect pot for those who do not mind having an inverted plastic bottle in their pot for aesthetic reasons. If you make a small hole in your container, it will affect the amount of liquid that flows out.
It looks like the plants are doing well! Okay, I was skeptical about the fact that these would be much more effective than typical indoor planters, because I always forget to water the two hanging baskets in front of my house as I water plants/hangers in the back. It was a bit disheartening to discover that the instructions on the packaging are not in English. This is what I figured out from other comments and things I read about this type of ceramic spike. The ceramic tips were initially soaked overnight in a bowl of water to ensure they were thoroughly saturated. My hanging baskets were thoroughly soaked for at least a few hours, but I think a few hours would have been fine. Second, I always make sure they are well watered when they are first installed. As a third measure, I used the handle of a wooden spoon to make a hole, because I have read that the tips can be fragile and break when pushed This fit like a glove due to the 500 ml sized water bottle I used. There are no drips or anything like that. After I cut the bottom off the plastic bottle, I flipped it over so that I could fill it with my watering can and fill it up. My wife and I have been using it for a week, during which the weather has been extremely hot. As a result of the change, the water level fell by one. Typically, 5 to 2 inches of snow are accumulated per day. Sticking my finger into the drain holes, I felt moisture from the top through the roots right all the way to the bottom of the plant. The plants, which are tall enough so that you barely notice them, do not also turn my backyard into an eyesore. As a whole, I would suggest buying these to anybody, and I plan on buying more for my other baskets as well. Although the plant was in a freestanding planter, I also tried it and while it worked, I think two bottles or a larger size water bottle, say 1000ml(1 liter) would have been better since the diameter of the plant was Many people assume that it is impossible to water for two weeks when they are on vacation. I'm unsure if it would work with a 2L pump? There is no standard size for bottles. The only time I looked at it was every 2 or 3 days So it is good that it is only 3 days. The product works great! I am very satisfied with it.
After 11 days of being away, it looked better when I returned than it did when I left (including two poinsettias, which I never have a great deal of luck with). My table had a water stain on it because I noticed there was an overflow at some point. Make sure to use deep saucers in case this occurs. In any case, the plants were perfectly watered, whether there was an overflow or not. I recommend using an implement like a thin knife or chopstick to create a narrow hole in the soil for the ceramic insert to sit in. It needs to be deep enough for the ceramic insert to stand in. You may end up having to snip a hole in the water bottle if it ends up falling out of the plant (in which case the water will leak all over the place). Make sure the bottles are made of plastic that can be snipped into the bottom - Using bottles with thin plastic will be easier - To do this, I used sharp scissors.
This is really handy since we planted plants that require watering every day in the first year, but we do not stop by more than once a month, so it is hardly necessary.
