Questions & Answers
The drainage hole allows excess moisture to drain from the soil, preventing the roots of the plant from rotting. The water in the saucer will be absorbed back into the soil once the soil has dried. Place some small stones or gravel in the water to raise the plant above the water line when using the saucer for humidity.
YES! Just remember to sprinkle a layer of small stones on the bottom (decorative if you have any!). ) for "water sharing" and a smidgeon of humidity
Most 5 gallon buckets, such as the orange paint bucket from Home Depot, the blue one from Lowes, and the true value food safe buckets, are between 10 and 15 gallons. 125 inches by ten inches. At the base, it measures 4 inches. So, these will fit almost all 5 gallon buckets, but I'm willing to bet there are a couple of brands that won't (I looked it up because I had the same question, and my peppers and tomatoes are in the True Value Foodsafe ones).
I use them with pots that are made of thick, long-lasting plastic. The saucers are sturdy, so I think they'll hold up to a large ceramic pot, for example. I was surprised at how long these saucers lasted.

These are STURDY, ATTRACTIVE, WELL BUILT, and AFFORDABLE. I just paid for something. I was not pleased that I had to pay $5 for ONE saucer of this size!! You can get them for slightly more than $2 each with this package deal! That's a bargain-priced deal-priced deal-priced deal QUALITY AND VALUE FOR MONEY!.
Saucer of excellent quality and durability. It is far superior to what I had anticipated. The recyclable number is 5, indicating that it is truly recyclable.
I'm sure I can reuse these instead of buying flimsy ones every season because they're made of thick, sturdy plastic. This purchase has left me completely satisfied.
They look great filled with jade rocks and provide humidity for your plants by pouring rocks about an inch deep and watering until the water level reaches halfway up the rocks. You want your pot to sit on top of the rocks, not in the water.
I only write reviews when I believe a product is of exceptional quality and merits a five-star rating. And this is the case with these saucers. I started with the 6-pack to see how it worked out for my deck plants. It's outside, and we've already experienced a strong wind and a long period of rain. It appears to have made it. I'm going to go out and get the rest of the plants I need.
The cost is less than half of what you would pay in a home improvement store. At the store, the 12" saucer cost more than $4. Worst of all, they're as frail and frail-looking as fast-food water cups. After a month, it had cracked and leaked. Take a look at this. They're incredibly thick, perhaps ten times as powerful. In comparison to home stores, the price is only half as much. I wish they'd combine different sizes for different pot sizes.
If they were transparent, it would be even better. Two photos are attached. An old saucer is depicted in the first photo. 'Feet' can be found on the old saucers. If you want to put the saucer on a plant stand with a smooth, flat surface, the feet can be a problem. The photo is an example; I have to make sure the 'feet' line up with the wrought iron design on the plant stand's surface. br>br>The second photo shows this product; the only thing I don't like about it is that it is opaque. Because there are no 'feet,' you can put it on a plant stand with an empty space design (as shown in the photo) and it will stay put. I also believe that these will be easier to clean because there are no 'feet' to trap water and dirt. Because we have hardwood floors, I prefer the deeper saucer with less slanting sides than my previous saucers. I'm more optimistic that this will keep the water in place. This was far more important than the openness. So far, I've bought 12" and 14" rugs.
I'm sick of the skinny ones. These are heavier, but one that came in was already cracked and there was no damage to the box today I noticed a tiny crack on another one and then barely moving it with a light plant cracked one in toward the bottom so that one's useless now I'm down to four obviously the company did nothing about it because I told him in my last review that I think they should replace it for me and they did not, so I'm bringing it down to one star as I see these stages they're going through. 95 and I'm going to do it because I'm tired of buying garbage. I know a lot of people rave about these, but I only have 10 inch pots in mind and I'm not even moving them. No, they need to be sturdier and at least a half inch higher. Hopefully, the company will address this, and I will change my rating to 5 stars if they do. Otherwise, one star is all they deserve.
