Selected User Reviews For 18 Pack of 6 inch & 8 inch & 10 inch Plant Saucers, Durable Plant Trays for Indoors Outdoors, Clear Plastic Flower Plant Pot Saucer, Made of Thicker, Stronger Plastic, with Taller Design (6"+8"+10")
These are translucent, which we like, but you might prefer transparent, and they are exactly what we were looking for: When picked up or moved around on the table, it is thick, sturdy plastic with edges that do not collapse or bend. All of the older, thin plastic trays we use will be replaced at some point. I didn't rate durability because we just got them; however, the sizes are correct and they are almost (but not quite) straight sided, so there isn't much room for items that are larger than the stated size. I expect these to last a long time without cracking, based on the material and the way they feel.
These saucers appear to be well-made and attractive. However, the headline is deceiving. The biggest size isn't even close to ten inches! (It's for this reason that I purchased this package. ) The outer diameter (including the useless rim) is a maximum of 9. 5"! The inside (usable) diameter starts at 9" at the top (opening) and drops to 8 5/8" at the bottom. br>br>I had to order a different product to meet my saucer requirements for a planter that is just under 10" in diameter at the base.
These were the only ones I could find this year! These are of incredible quality. They're slightly taller, which I like. They have a thicker feel to them than food storage containers. If you lift them while they are wet, they won't bend or crack. I'll never buy the others again, but I'm sure I won't need to replace these as frequently! It was well worth the money.
My floors are lovely, and my plants are lovely. However, there was a snag. The saucers I bought in stores all fell apart after a while, either leaking or cracking when my husband bumped them with the vacuum cleaner. My problems were solved because of these saucers. They're my favorite. They're tough, thick, and plyable. They can take a beating, they're thick, and they keep my floors looking nice; I wish I'd discovered them years ago instead of buying a million saucers from the store.
These plant saucers are extremely strong and durable. They should be placed beneath your plant pots to catch the water that drains out. On the smaller saucers, I can even place heavy concrete block planters to completely conceal the saucer itself - That's how tough they are.
They're more durable, and I expect them to last for several years. Because all pots are not the same size, the 18 pack assorted is a better choice; however, the 6 inch saucers were too small for the average size pot, which was disappointing! When working on gas trimmers, blowers, and other machines, I use them as a parts bin. The high rims sides also help to capture water rather than overflowing, which is a problem with big box saucers.
They're far superior to the cheap, flimsy ones sold at Home Depot and Lowe's, and they're also deeper than their strongest models. Surprisingly, these are extremely strong and durable. As you can see from the photos, my bottom is littered with rocks, some of which are quite large. I like that it came in a three-size multipack. I only wish I had ordered more because I've already used all of them and could use a couple more. I liked them so much that I didn't plan on using a saucer on the plants that already had shallow saucers attached to the pots, but they were so nice that I did. These were well worth the money I spent on them.
The majority of them are far too frail. This aids drainage while also providing some humidity from any run-off. off. Consider placing another order!.
