Questions & Answers

Is there a version that isn't scented? I'm not looking for a peanut butter-scented product. ?

The scent on these Trapper Max Glue Traps is so light that most people don't notice it, but it's very effective at attracting bugs and mice; however, if you're extremely sensitive to smells, you can search Amazon for "Trapper Max Free Mouse Glue Boards."

Is it possible to use these in a home with kittens? Is it possible for kittens or cats to get their paws caught in them?

DO NOT USE IN A PLACE WHERE CATS OR KITS MAY COME IN CONTACT! When Ivan was a tween, one go got stuck on his bum and he was flying through the air, and we couldn't catch him until I threw a bath towel over him and covered his head. I had to practically sit on him to get it off. That's something I'll never do again to the poor guy. I do, however, put them in places where he can't swipe by them, and now that they're all adults, they're not interested in ripping them off the walls where I cut them into thin strips and taped them. Today I'll place another order.

Is it possible to leave them flat or do you have to fold them?

It's possible to leave them flat. That's how I use them so I can quickly see if anything was caught. To attract the mouse even more, I spread a small amount of peanut butter in the center of the flat board. They're primarily used in the garage for me.

Will ants be attracted to these boards?

Glue boards work well for trapping spiders, roaches, and other insects, but I haven't seen any ants on mine. There are other, more effective ways to get rid of ants, such as using ant bait that the ants bring back to the colony.

To make it easier to hide, cut it into strips
5/5

I cut each one into six strips and place them underneath all of the appliances. The photo depicts the first week under the fridge, which was a complete disaster. Without the use of chemicals, I was able to reduce their population by about 85 percent. 90%. It's a fantastic product that doesn't have a strong odor. When I got home, one of these was dangling from my dog's back end. I wish I'd taken a photo of it as well.

They do their job, but they aren't very humane
5/5

This product accomplishes its goal. I bought these bug traps because I have a lot of bugs (usually centipedes) and spiders in my basement bedroom. I suffer from a severe phobia of bugs and needed to do something to alleviate the situation and reduce my anxiety. br>br>These traps are NOT HUMANE, despite the fact that they work and are convenient. I despise using them on bugs, but I would never consider using them on a living creature. The animal becomes entangled in the glue and eventually dies of starvation. Panicked, they tried to bite their way out of the glue with their teeth. Even if you despise or fear rodents, they don't deserve to be treated in this manner. Yes, they are unwelcome guests in your home, but they are wild animals. It's not their fault, and they have no idea why they're in your home. br>br>It's fine to set traps, as long as you use HUMANE traps that allow you to capture the animal and transport it to a safe location where it can be released. br>br>Everyone should stop killing animals for the sake of convenience, especially when it is possible to capture and release them. Humane traps take a little more effort, but they're well worth it if you're saving a life, and there are plenty of options on Amazon. Please take those into consideration. br>br>I'm not sure if I'll use these for bugs in the future.

It's effective! This product works well if you unfold it rather than folding it into a box and place it on a corner!

THIS IS NOT WORKING! Stay the night in a literal roach motel if you're passing through
3/5

I'm sorry I bought them. br>br>I live in a 150-year-old apartment building, and after some new construction, a few "friends" began to emerge from the shadows. So, after considering all of my options, I decided on these because of their positive reviews. br>br>Huge blunder. Several have crawled in one end and out the other, which I've witnessed. br>br>I even tried to pick one up while the offender was stuck for his 5 minute time out, hoping to throw the whole thing away. br>br>I even tried to pick one up while the offender was stuck for his 5 minute time out, hoping to throw the whole thing away. br>br>I even tried to pick one up while the offender was stuck for his 5 minute time out, hoping to throw the whole thing away. Unfortunately, on his 6 inch trip to the garbage bag, the guy got out and attempted to exact his revenge on me. br>br>If you don't want to buy these pest time out traps, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere.

Is it possible that I received a dozen lemons? So far, these traps have served me well
3/5

I noticed a few tiny bugs and spiders stuck in them during the first few days. br>Although we don't have much of a bug problem in our house, I figure that any bug caught in the trap is one less bug that will land on our heads. br>br>A few days later, I notice two spiders of reasonable size trapped. br>This made me happy because I'm a bit of an arachnophobe (wife is in charge of spider extermination - Anything else will be handled by me). br>As I previously stated, two relatively large spiders have been caught in two separate traps, so I'm satisfied (again, relative speaking). The growing number of trapped bugs in our living room impresses (and creeps out) even my 12-year-old daughter. br>br>A few days later, while plugging her phone into the outlet, my daughter says to me - "Dad, the big spider is no longer trapped in the trap. " br>br>I double-check and, yes, it's correct. The smaller insects are still present, but the "large" spider has vanished! br>The other "big" spider in the bathroom trap is in the same boat. br>I'm at a loss for words. Was it possible for these spiders to break free from the glue? br>Did they get sucked into the traps by something bigger and more ominous? br>br>The sad reality is that the former is more likely. Simply put, the glue isn't sticky enough to keep a bug larger than a firefly trapped indefinitely. When I said the spiders were big, I really meant it. They're huge in my opinion. I believe they were ordinary wolf spiders - As a result, it's approximately an inch long. Yes, it's disgusting, but it's not tarantula-worthy (we're in New Jersey, after all). br>br>All right, let's get started. If you're looking for small bug and cricket traps, this is the place to go. It's likely that you'll be all right. If you're purchasing them for larger bugs, such as mice. I have my doubts. br>Perhaps I got a faulty batch?.

The Traps Must Not Be Touched With Bare Hands! I have video of a house mouse sniffing the glue trap before walking around it to its next hiding spot
3/5

If you touch any trap with your bare hands, the mouse is said to pick up your scent and avoid the area where you touched it! My exterminator, unfortunately, used their bare hands to lay glue traps as well. There has yet to be a mouse caught!.

Sadly, this is true
5/5

They're very effective. These take some time to work out, but they do. They've caught a swarm of large spiders, crickets, and beetles in a room that hasn't been properly sealed off from the outside world (door cracks, etc. ). They become encased in the glue - and die. There are two points to consider: The glue has a "peanut butter" flavor to it. It's best to put these near the walls and furniture, where they're more likely to crawl.

You've Got to Catch 'Em All! So, here's the deal: I live on the third floor of an apartment building, and I've recently been plagued by a serious cricket infestation
5/5

One of these traps has been placed near my front door, back door, living room, kitchen, and bathroom. At least two crickets are always in one of these traps when I return home. Do I enjoy the fact that crickets and bugs continue to find their way into my home and I have no idea how they do so? No. But knowing that these traps will catch them when they fall into place makes me feel better! I've already re-evaluated the situation. I've ordered this product three times and have never been disappointed! They're a good size. a perfect fit for my kitchen counters in the bathrooms If you have a crawly bug problem, this is a must-have!!.
