Grasp the toe of a tiger.
This trap is fantastic for the most part. It did, however, just come to a halt on the tail of a mouse. The mouse was on one side of the door, while the trap was on the other (the mouse crawled through the 1" gap). He then bolted when I opened the door, dragging the trap behind him. He fled as I screamed. However, I was successful in catching him in the trap and releasing him into the open air.
I caught three mice the first night using only two traps. At the same time, both of them are dead. It was also a breeze to clean up. I'm not sure what you used as bait, but a dab of peanut butter would suffice. This stuff is incredible.

A second opinion: To begin with, these traps are fantastic. Setup and use is simple. Catch and kill as soon as possible. It's simple to get the mouse out of the trap without having to handle it. br>br>I believe the majority of people expect these to be multi-dimensional. Traps should be used. The Tomcat video even shows how easy it is to release the trap, implying that you will keep the trap rather than tossing the entire mouse / trap set. br>br>In my experience, these work for a few times before becoming difficult to set and eventually failing to release or breaking the little white trigger bar in the back. br>br>Being a take-out food separating / repairing I dismantled one of my failed traps to figure out why it didn't work. Everything appeared to be in working order, so I decided to reassemble and lubricate the "hinged" areas of the trap. So that was the solution to the problem. I discovered that putting a small drop of vegetable, mineral, or baby oil on the back of the trap's trigger keeps it functioning. Use a non-abrasive substance that won't scratch the plastic. You don't need to disassemble anything, so a good silicon oil or gel should suffice. Put the trap together. Simply place a drop on the hinge and latch bar through the open back. br>br>I now lube the back trigger area before each use, and I'm still catching mice. br>br>As an FYI, contacting "Tomcat" will tell you that these traps are one-time use only, but they will refund your costs if you have a real receipt and or the actual cardboard UPC code. br>br>enjoy br>br>enjoy br>br>enjoy.
It failed to catch a rat two nights in a row. That's a total of two errors in a row. It bit the side and dragged it the first time, and it went off, so I had to reset it. This trap failed to catch it the second time around. See the video for more information. For small mice, this might work, but rats are a different story.
I bought a variety of mouse traps, including wooden traps, glue traps, and live catch traps, but none of them caught the mice (2 of them) in our house. A mouse was eating the rice from the factory bag in our garage. I placed one of these near the rice (and removed the rice) and baited it with Tomcat mouse attractant gel. Overnight, I caught a mouse. It was much more difficult to catch the mouse on my second floor. It used my room as a playground and irritated me at all hours of the day and night. I used TomCat mouse gel attractant to set up two Catcha traps in my room. I used two Multi- In my room, I have see-through mouse traps. I used gel attractant in two TomCat Press N Set traps. All of them were avoided by the mouse. I then went out and bought rat glue traps and mouse glue traps with bacon as bait, which I placed throughout my room. Nothing. This went on for three weeks before I realized what was going on. In the kitchen, I set up a number of Victor wooden traps as well as TomCat Press N Set traps with gel attractant. Nothing. br>br>Near the refrigerator, I discovered three mouse droppings. I was making spam ham fried rice at the time, and one small spam flew out of the pan as I cooked it. I made the decision to use the spam as bait. I put it in a Press N Set trap where the mouse poop was discovered. I discovered the mouse trapped and dead in the trap within two hours. Overall, the Tomcat Mouse Attractant Gel performed admirably. With the gel, I was able to catch one mouse in the garage, but I was unable to catch the mouse in my room or kitchen for three weeks. The mice were not caught in the Victor wooden traps with TomCat Mouse Attractant Gel, and the mice were not caught in the Catcha Smart Mouse Trap with attractant gel. Multiple catch traps were set, but none of them were successful in catching anything. Glue traps were not successful in catching the culprits. After all was said and done, the Press N Set (hopefully) got them all. Spam ham bait appears to be effective:.
Omg! br>It's a success! So I had a mouse in my apartment, and I was freaking out
I'm in complete disarray. I purchased mouse traps, deodorizer, and glue traps, as well as foam to plug my closet holes and a mouse deterrent plug-in. I went in, used peppermint oil, and so on, but I didn't notice the mouse at all. I reasoned that I had prevented him from returning. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no The thief emerges from behind my apartment's wall unit late one night. I scream and become enraged once more. However, he is truly trapped in this location this time, with no escape route. I set up this trap, as well as the black one I purchased from the same company. ABOVE THE TRAPS FOR ME, the mouse was astute, looking out from his crack! br>br>All right, bugger, I'm going to try to catch you. I used peppermint oil as a spray. Put a towel over the traps so that the only way he could get out was if he was picked up. The mouse was cunning; he avoided the first trap, but the second one caught him (his head), and the first one snapped on his abdomen. He probably suffered for about ten seconds before passing out. It took an hour to catch him from the time I set up the traps. br>br>THESE TRAPS ARE ONE OF MY FAVORITES. I'm definitely going to keep a few extras on hand just in case. In addition, any existing holes should be repaired. br>br>Make no mistake: you WILL be able to tell when your prey has died. The traps reverberate at a high decibel level. But, wow, what a wonderful confirmation. br>br>After that, I had a cocktail to celebrate. Yes, this was a worthy occasion to commemorate. br>br>.
Wow, the quality of these has deteriorated dramatically. br>br> I had previously given them a four-star rating because they were great and lasted for years (older product design or material). The last two sets I bought, on the other hand, were complete duds. After catching their first mouse (within days of purchase), two out of four people broke down. ) Really? Isn't it true that two out of every four people don't succeed? Now the product quality is atrocious. br>br>I can't recommend these if two of every four fail, which is statistically unlikely. Either they stopped conducting random checks, switched factories, or simply scrimped on the quality of the plastic. br>br>[Update] Four of the four are no longer functional. THIS PRODUCT SHOULD NOT BE PURCHASED.
