It is contingent on the number of insects caught. These traps were covered in fruit flies after three weeks of use. I'll have to find someone to take their place.
Fungus gnats and white flies are both attracted to it. Make sure the triangle part is completely buried in the soil. The majority of the gnats are stuck to the bottom of the trap and around the edges. br>br>I've never tried it on fruit flies before. It's possible that the trap will also catch them.
China is the source of this product.
I imagine the humidity and cold of the fridge would render the sticky glue ineffective.br>If you have ANY kind of bug in your fridge, I recommend cleaning it with bleach, throwing out any old food, and checking the temperature. Bugs shouldn't be active inside a refrigerator because it runs at a temperature that would cause most insects to hibernate. The temperature in your refrigerator should be around 33 degrees Fahrenheit. 42°f.

For the past two weeks, fruit flies have been buzzing around my sink and fruit basket, and I've been looking for a way to get rid of them. br>I planted a plant in the sink and buried one of these traps. After a single day, NOTHING! br>br>However, my husband had the brilliant idea of using strawberry tops to attract the fruit flies to the trap. BAM! The issue has been resolved. Day 2 - There are no more fruit flies! br>br>Be aware that these DO NOT ATTRACT fruit flies, and you must lure them to a very specific location. Once you've done that, the product will work!.
This evil is contained in these traps. I bought a jade plant at a garden show a few months ago and brought it home with me. Unfortunately, I was unaware that it was infested with fungus gnats, which then spread to and multiplied in all of my other plants. My ginseng bonsai was a big hit with them. I'd see them flying around my plants all the time, but they also liked to fly around my face and eyes. There were a lot of these suckers around. I was killing ten to fifteen a day, but because they are so small, they were frequently escaping me. I was intrigued by the positive feedback for these sticky traps and decided to give them a try. My fungus gnat infestation has been under control for about a month now, thanks to these traps. On the traps I've set up, there are probably a hundred in total. I don't see them as often as I used to, and it's not uncommon for me to go a day or two without seeing one. I'm using these traps in combination with some mosquito bits in my water to kill the larvae, and I believe this is the best way to get rid of them completely. The traps don't look too bad either, thanks to their cute shapes. These fungus gnat traps are highly recommended!.
I used to have a lot of gnats in my plants, but they're all gone now! These would be good for fungus gnats in indoor house plants.
I placed them in my flower pots and near some lights that attract gnats. They became gnat-infested in a single day.
They do a fantastic job. Wait a few days, and you'll notice that they've collected more bugs than you, despite the fact that you had more! They're HORRIBLE at sticking to each other. Any small bug that happens to land on it will almost certainly die. It's so strong that you could probably tie a fish to it and it wouldn't move.
I took the risk of ordering a rare plant from Sri Lanka, which arrived infested with small flies. These sticky traps proved to be crucial in catching them. Every room of my house has them in plant pots. It is extremely simple to use; I would strongly suggest it.
You must first remove the protective paper from the glue in order for these to work. This paper is difficult to remove, and as you try to do so for us, it shreds into pieces.
2. I bought it to get rid of fruit flies--no other reason. Exactly as their product description claims. This, on the other hand, appears to be designed solely for use with a potted plant. To catch flies, this product cannot be placed near fruit in a safe manner. Fruit flies are said to be attracted to the yellow color of the product. This is a false statement.
3. This product's advertisement appears to be deceptive to me.
I bought one set, then another, and then a third! I have a lot of indoor plants, and all of a sudden there are a lot of little gnats, which could be due to the potting soil I used. Hundreds of insects were caught in these traps, which I couldn't believe! The number of gnats caught in these traps astounded me. They come highly recommended, and I won't have a plant room without them.
