In the description it is not stated that it should be sharp, and my cutting edge is not as sharp as the description states. If you prefer to sharpen it, there is no reason why it cannot be done.
There is no need to worry about it. We have a lot of hard work to do. To fill your garden trash bags, I would have them ready to It might also be worthwhile to use some type of scythe, depending on how tall the weeds are. Chop it well to reduce the size, then use a lawnmower (as long as you remember that this does not remove the roots) to cut it short, then remove it with a weed eater. As well as a scuffle hoe, it would be really handy to have. The sound of the job would make me go "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?" if I were standing in this yard.

Metal, based on what I've seen so far. It was very useful to me this spring. It did not have any problems working. The foothold works even if it is made out of heavy plastic.

There is no reason why I was so hesitant to pull the trigger on this purchase. By using an electric weeder, you will be able to stop spending hours bending over to remove weeds. The construction and the fact it's one piece makes it so much better than those wooden pullers that have a single screw to hold the puller on (which eventually My only tip is to do not use it when it is too wet so you don't cake up the tool and slow yourself.
It's a great tool, I like it With the best saw edge yet on a garden tool, it fits well in the hand, is sturdy, has a very nice knife edge, and is probably one of the best tools you can own. Through roots under the ground, it is easily cut. You can use it as a weeder like a dandelion tool, yet it is wide enough to plant small bulbs and to use for a variety of other things. used it to harvest leeks when there was no other choice, sawing through the roots like nothing else could. In my garden and yard, I can use it for a variety of things as I work. I can easily place it in my back pocket. Having a measure built in makes planting a lot easier. A perfect combination of versatility and ease of cleaning.
Weeders such as this are not cheap or flimsy. Rather than going to the big box store, I decided to take a chance and spend a bit more. When you put something to the test, you never quite know what will end up like. I didn't even have to bend it twice when applying my entire weight. It had no problem taking out crab grass and weeds. I spent my money well.
I read that it's easier to pull weeds if the plants are green and alive. Massacring the plants before pulling them would make it easier to do so. I think that's something wrong with that tool, at least. did not pull out any plants all I did was pull out brown dead leaf fragments from dead weeds. It was nice to pull weeds with incredible results when I first got it. I hadn't killed the weeds yet but I was curious so I pulled a few. I thought, ok, so I'll kill them and I will be done in no time. The mistake was big! The best way to prevent weeds from coming back is to don't pull them.
As a wonder tool the Gardtech weed puller made a splash. I was shocked at how easy it was to use and how much time it saved me. This herbicide works great for pulling weeds. One of the blades broke off right away during the second use, staying wedged in the ground for days. was surprised to discover that the puller was still working, but only for a short time. Sooner rather than later, the weeds won. The aluminum bar collapsed and folded as I bent it backwards to remove a large weed. Steel is, without doubt, the strongest material, so it should be used for the manufacture of any product that is intended to last. It is not possible to pull a weed with aluminum because of the torque it creates. The design of this item is great, however, the materials are inferior. Despite its short life, it did not last even two days. Weeds to the tune of 5 bags. I bought a bag for $10 each. This is not a good return on investment.
It was a pleasant surprise. To get a decent technique for it to work best for me required a little bit of practice. I am sure it would vary based on the soil you are working with and the type of weeds you wish to take out. The mulch worked pretty well moving around my flower beds that are mulched, but I wouldn't use it on any very hard soils or compacted ground. Weeds do bring up some soil with them, but I just tossed them in a pile and let them dry before shaking off the excess dirt. I was pleasantly surprised at how many weed roots were intact when I removed them. Looking forward to using this more often!.
It literally got into a fight between my husband and me as to who could use it Hahahaha, I'll definitely have the most beautiful lawn on the street soon enough. - Customer service was amazing, somehow the address got mixed up but they were able to solve the issue no questions asked - There's probably an additional one I need to purchase for my husband too.
There is no doubt that the sharp edges (which include the serrated edge) are effective and efficient for getting out weeds, including the dreadful dandelion with its powerful root system. Could have been better if the sheath came with it.
