Questions & Answers

Are strawberries going to be removed from a flowerbed if I use this?

Yes, I believe it will be successful. As from other plants that have similar growth patterns, I have not used it for this purpose. The lateral growth of strawberries does require more effort and a little bit of practice with the

Can Bermuda grass be cut with this device?

Bermuda grass is not my cup of tea! Somewhere along the way I saw a video (maybe on the cobrahead website?) showing it being demonstrated on Bermuda grass, in which it seemed to work If Bermuda is to be eliminated, it is important to remember A single speck of weed, no matter what part it is- In the spring, grass will begin growing again. In other words, even if a bit of the blade or a bit of root is left behind, new weeds will appear. And to make matters worse, this tree's roots go four feet underground! Neither compost it nor put it in the garbage. You're going to have a hard time getting rid of

It has been almost two months since I ordered it online. It has not arrived yet. How long does it normally take for your order to ship?

In 2020, there was a period when the Postal Service experienced extended delivery delays of several weeks, but this is otherwise not a normal shipping timeline. If the order has not arrived, contact the seller so they can track it.

Do you think this tool would work well to dig up wild onion bulbs? How can I really get to the root of the problem and eliminate them rather than just remove them?

Without a doubt! A gardening tool like this is the best I've ever owned. This is one tool I use for everything and I have dug many wild onion bulbs Use the tool to your advantage. The last place you went to is the last place you will go.

Selected User Reviews For CobraHead Original Weeder & Cultivator Garden Hand Tool - Forged Steel Blade - Recycled Plastic Handle - Ergonomically Designed for Digging, Edging & Planting - Gardeners Love Our Most Versatile Tool

You must see for yourself how much more vicious a bite this cobra can deliver if it has a forked tongue! Gardening is my passion, and I've manage hundreds of square feet of ornamental beds, vegetable gardens, and a 1/2 acre of wild flower meadow over the years
4/5

As someone who has done a lot of weed management over the years, I am qualified to review the Cobra system.

First of all, the pros Despite its rugged construction, this weeder is incredibly easy to operate. There is a strong feeling of indestructibility to the resin handle, and the metal is unable to bend. The Pro's I expect this to be a tool that lasts for the rest of my life. As far as I am concerned, the design is seriously flawed. I hate how the tip looks like a spade. A root of any sort is difficult to pull since the end just slides to one side which makes it impossible for you to get a hold of it. Trying to cut out roots with a spade tip doesn't work since the spade tip slides to the side to look for the most direct path. Without a root network of your own, you can't have any control over the contents of a book. Here are the steps to fix it I didn't use it in the season after I first tried out the design because I was so annoyed by it. I hung it on the wall of my garage and didn't pick it up again. Lastly, I took it back down and realized that I could solve the spade shape problem by cutting out a notch similar to the traditional lawn weeder that has been common for the past 50 years. To cut the notch, I used my dremel tool with a cutting wheel Here is a picture. I was able to finish in about 5 minutes. This is now a must-have tool for me when I'm in the back yard. I can pull small saplings from my meadow, rip up anything with fibrous roots, and chop down plants with tough roots, like raspberries. The only limit to my abilities is my own. tip, it travels straight and can be pulled through tough roots with force. By gripping the root, it also makes it lighter to pull, making it easier to pull out the entire root by hand. If modified, the Cobra is quite a force. The machine can take care of weeds that are smaller, There are not enough words to express how important it is to modify it now and how much I love it. If you have weeds in other areas, this is probably the best tool to get rid of them. It is a bit aggressive for use in the lawn, but for weeds in other areas, it is quite effective. It is an indispensable purchase, and it must be modified. This earned me a star because I had to make changes to I wouldn't give it five stars if it didn't come with the notched tip. * * This idea has been voted up by 425 people. If you find this useful, please let others know by giving it a thumbs up. In a recent review, a guy wished that there was a V- This is top-notch. It seems like I'm not alone in this.

A brilliant tool to remove weeds by hand! It follows that Since the weeds have taken over my garden in the last few years, I have been fighting them
5/5

Previously, I have used chemical sprays on my lawn that either have had little effect or have burned parts of the lawn off. Furthermore, there are the hassles of dealing with chemicals, keeping the children out, and watching the weather forecast. In the past, I've tried a bunch of different tools to remove weeds. It looks like a screwdriver with split ends in some cases. It is the Fiskars product that is the best out of this lot There is a crowbar-like bend to it, which makes it easy to pull weeds out, in a similar fashion to pulling nails out of Finally, there's CobraHead, a tool to help you make sense of all of this. There have been some mentions that the pressure point is different than what is described in reviews. In this way, the weed does not get pulled from the top, but is almost pushed out by going below and applying Below is a short video showing how much crab grass can be removed in one go. The operation of pulling weeds almost requires one hand.

The tool I find most useful in the garden
5/5

Tools made like the ones you used to see! The tools made here are similar to the ones made in the past! Those who complain about the price should consider all of the tools that I have purchased and thrown away in the time that I have owned my CobraHead, and I thus spent much more on them despite the fact It is not acceptable for me to throw anything A reliable back-up tool is what I need because I want to travel for many years to come. The CobraHead will certainly last as long as I do! My other one looks pretty much just like the second one I just got from Amazon. I keep mine in a bucket of sand. I've had my first one for about 10 years and I still use it today. What is the point of a second one if the first one is still in terrific shape? All of a sudden everyone is enthralled by It is a favorite among all the members of my household. I know others who have tried one and they also agree with me. A year after I bought my first one, I bought a second one for my dad as a Father's Day gift. It is a constant point of contention between him and my mom about the use of I guess I should have gotten one for Mother's Day as well! I recommend not letting these grow in your garden or not letting them go to seed. It's an easy way to get rid of tough plants like creeping charlie, wild violets, and garlic chives. It was more effective than a shovel against garlic chives when using the CobraHead. The shovel I used to dig these monsters broke during the digging process. Root, bulb, and all! CobraHead gets under the root mass and pops it out! As a matter of fact, my son said that using the CobraHead to get the chives out was actually fun! It's fast and easy to weed around plants when you use this tool. No matter how tough or baked the soil may be, it can be easily loosened with this product. My skills include digging holes, cutting roots, cultivating, digging planting trenches, trimming edges, pulling weeds, and moving soil/mulch around when planting and weeding. This tool is capable of performing a wide variety of basic gardening tasks. The ergonomic and sturdy design make it a perfect fit. Having two now has made me feel like Wolverine when gardening, as my son pointed out.

It's easy to fool yourself with the simple design
5/5

That's an amazing experience. In my opinion, there is so much satisfaction in pulling up an entire weed. Due to the fact that I have a dog running in my backyard, I try not to use The flipper of my home cut price by improperly preparing the ground for mulch, but I was the new owner of the house. Almost four months after we moved into our new house, weed forests have taken over. The last thing I want for my husband is to come home to an unmanicured lawn when he returns from deployment. My money and time have been spent on pretty much every weeding tool out there, but this thing has proven to be my go-to. It's small, simple, and efficient, but it is built to last. You can easily run it over packed dirt, dry dirt, or loose ground and it really does get out the weeds completely. By using this, I have saved myself a great deal of time and headache. It would have saved me a great deal of time and money if I had purchased this first.
