The mistake I made was mine. Just the packaging was different, but the knife (and case) were exactly the same. As they say, you don't always get what you pay for. . . I tend to think a more expensive item is of better quality, but these were the exact same knife! You'll save some money if you go with the GARTOL "brand". That's why I love it so much.
It is hard to pull weeds out of the soil where I live because the soil has a lot of clay in it. As I was pulling up dandelions in the garden, I heard a loud "CRACK". The hori hori seemed durable enough to withstand the prying, but as I was going to the washroom, I heard the following sound.
