Changing the course of your life
5/5

My package arrived at my front door just now. Therefore, I called in sick and went out into the woods to see if this would work for me. As a bushcrafter, I have years of experience. This was my mentality from the beginning. Changing a thing that works is not a good idea. Then, when my Corona saw finally stopped working, I decided to give the Gomboy a shot. Oh, oh, oh. It's me. A divine being. Speed is the name of the game with this blade. The literal meaning of this is. The first time I used one of these saws, I was in awe. I had heard these saws could eat through wood, but to actually use one changed my life. As I chipped away at wood like a lumberjack shredding flannel, creatures from the forest cheered me on. Above the clouds, high in the sky. In the sky, a bald eagle soars. In agreement, I call out. At the time, I knew. It would be impossible for me to be stopped. It was Chipmunks' turn. Taking into account that blizzard is coming, could you put together a shelter quickly? "Yes!" she replied. I like this better. Could you please tell me how many you would like? I was blown away by the I always smile when I see the look on my wife's face as I come home with the silky saw in hand. The way that you made me feel was like being My mother now encourages me to spend more time in the woods. I'm sorry honey, I'm sorry. You can let those chores go. The silky smoothness of your hair is excellent. "Make us proud" is just what you need to do. I would like to thank Silky for your help. I appreciate your help.

I have tried many other products, but this one is the best
5/5

I've tried a couple, but nothing compares to this. The list of saws I own includes a Sven 15", a Bahco Laplander, and another that I gave to my son and can't recall the brand. Here's why I consider this saw a cut above the rest This is true1. This design makes it easier for you to control kerf once it's in the groove since it cuts on the pull stroke. The laplander, by the way, is able to cut as well when pulling. 1. 2. There is nothing more effective than a set of teeth The blades are blade-sharp, do not set, and are designed to hog out chips and eject them rapidly. 1. 2. 3. This saw needs to be sharpened if you ever have to cut something that shouldn't be cut The color of tool steel, the color of granite, or my former lover A batch of cookies from her wife. The fourth point. There are two lock settings, one of which allows you to keep your knuckles away from the work piece while using the full length of the blade and A very solid 1/4" of depth is used for the locking detents. This is 5. Even though you are probably not planning on making fine furniture using this, the very smooth cut will certainly be appreciated. 6 *. As a result of the tight friction (that can be adjusted, but rarely does) on the pivot screw, the blade does not wiggle laterally. The intricate friction between the blade and the handle suffices to hold the blade firmly in the handle without a locking device. I. 7. The blade itself is actually thinner than the overall blade diameter (by ). Although it is only 0. 01" shorter than the Laplander, it feels much sturdier and more stable in use. This is accomplished by the tooth design, the absence of wiggle, and the pull-down feature. A stroke cut is used. This makes eight. It is easier to clean and maintain because it is uncoated steel that has been hardened and chromed. Then, 9. Replaceable blades are available in three styles to meet the needs of coarse, medium, and fine cuts. In this post, I did not mention the plastic storage case that comes with Silky Gomboy, but I think it's both nice and unnecessary. This Silky Gomboy 240 is longer (by 1-inch) than my normal Silky Gomboy 240 I am able to saw slightly larger pieces with the Laplander, but that only means I have the option of sawing larger pieces, Both saws fit into a backpack, rucksack, or even a haversack comfortably. Moreover, the tool pocket of a pair of Carharts is very handy. It is not a quality or feature of the Laplander that makes me think it is significantly superior to the Silky Gomboy to me it offers no significant advantage. Would the extra $13 or so be worth it? When it comes to bushcrafting or pruning, the Laplander is a good folding saw, and if that is all you are doing then you might be satisfied with this product. If I were to use it for any serious purpose, I would (and would) pay the extra money for it.

The saw is quite impressive
5/5

The Gomboy 240 (lg teeth) seems to be a good folding saw after reading several reviews, articles, and watching many You Tube videos on folding saws. When I first used one, we were able to go through a maple log as if it were Although I am an elderly woman who can hardly lift heavy objects, I wanted to try this since I needed to cut some wood for my wood cook stove. They are very easy to work with, and they are effortless. According to what I learned, they are a bit richer, but I will probably still stay loyal to Silky In the meantime, I'll keep you posted. So far, this is a fine My birthday is coming up and I'll ask them for one of their pole saws! I can hardly wait till spring to tackle all the branches that have been broken below ground this winter, and I am sure that their Hayauchi would be able to chop wood on those branches that are out of reach.

There was a snap in the blade! A saw that breaks is of no use to anyone
3/5

Although this saw is excellent, it has one In the end, the blade snaps because it bends too easily. I have used an inexpensive Coleman folding saw for many years. The blade bent on me a few times, but it is made of such poor quality steel that it did not There was no way out for it but to bend and stay In order to bend it back, I had to bend it. The Silky saw blade got stuck on the forward stroke, bending and then snapping in two. After using it for only a few days, I gave up on it. My two saws were actually purchased at the same time. It's now super important that I exercise extreme caution with the one that isn't broken, but I can see the blade becoming stuck someday A saw with a blade that breaks so easily will never be bought again by me. How can all of the quality and craftsmanship of the saw be of any use if it's so easily broken? Neither one star nor two stars are possible for this. In addition to the Silky, I just bought a folding saw whose blade is much "higher". I have no idea what else to call it, it isn't longer, it isn't thicker, it is Are you taller? Aside from not bending so easily, it is fairly decent, costs half as much, and doesn't bend nearly as easily as Silky. Silky is a product I've heard lots of good things about. Don't get caught.

Camping and backpacking where firewood needs to be gathered make this the best tool
5/5

I am blown away by what I saw. On a recent overnight backpacking trip on the Appalachian trail, I took it with me and this is going to be a staple for every packout from now on. a lot of time and energy when I was building a fire. It's so rewarding to use as it burns through 3-inch logs in no time at all. A branch with a thickness of 4". As opposed to breaking sticks all evening I'd been doing that left my hands feeling like sandpaper. While I was on the fence between this and the Sven saw, I realized that when you've cut some branches and need both your hands, you can fold this down and put it in your pocket as opposed to the Sven saw since you'd have to break it down each time. Rather than filling up the carrying case with a lot of weight, I used a Nite Ize Gear Tie to ensure that the blade wouldn't open.
