My expectations were low because gfci are often incompatible with digital ballasts, but I was glad I was wrong. Three of the four were working so I figured the fourth wouldn't work due to an electrical draw issue between the lamp holder, the ballast, and the circuit breaker. I think this new hood took care of whatever issue the owner had. The hood I had was probably out of date and had old parts in it. I assume it has to do with the quality of the make and the hood I had was old. I believe it to be older than I originally thought.
