Once they have been assembled, they can be installed.
This item is advertised as being able to hold 90 pounds. The shelves don't slide down from the weight of what I have on them so far. I haven't tried to put anything too heavy on them, but what I have on them seems fine. There is no bowing or anything like that in the walls. There appears to be no deterioration of these shelves at all. There are no products I love more than Palram!
During the greenhouse installation, I only installed two of them on either side of the center. It wouldn't be possible to install them by the corner.

I purchased them at the same time as a Palram greenhouse that measured 6'x6'. As I envisioned the shelves, I put three of them together One of the walls runs along the side of the room. In the 6' model, the channels on the uprights are only on the 2 center uprights, so only one shelf will fit. The shelves are designed to attach to the aluminum uprights channeled in the greenhouse the 6' version has only two upright channels. It is my passion to assemble and make things, so I am certain that I can modify these shelves to suit my needs. Making four of these shelves requires a great deal of assembly as they are decent, strong shelves.
Especially hard to get all the slats on the shelf to fit into the slots when the screws go into the slots. This is going to be a long and challenging process. I also found it very difficult to get the shelf to go on the greenhouse supports - the nuts and bolts are very, very hard to install! However, once the nuts and blots are placed in their proper locations it is incredibly easy to put it all together. The one thing you can't do is put them into the corner of a greenhouse you have already built. If you were stronger, you could bend the window part of the greenhouse so that the bolt would fit through the slot, but I am not strong enough to do The shelf is not affected by the bent slat, but it did affect one of the slats. I love how the shelf looks once everything comes together.
Unless you put them in when you are assembling the greenhouse, it is difficult to attach these shelves to the greenhouse, especially in the corners. The lock is sturdy once installed, but it's limited in its application. Greenhouse shelves would be great for storing plants. It is only a problem with Palram's instruction manual that they fail to tell the user to install the flat head screws in the corresponding slots before completing assembly of the greenhouse, which makes it easier for the shelves to be installed.
You get hangars underneath the shelves, so you can guide any vine plants under your shelves. They assemble quickly, and come with a large number of hooks. I think they will fit in the greenhouse perfectly. It is made of very sturdy materials.
This morning I received my order a week ahead of my estimate, which was great news. In one side, I stacked 2 shelves in tandem and in the other side, I stacked 2 shelves in tandem.
