Questions & Answers
If you want to use it as a single chamber tumbler, then yes. It would make no sense to have two doors, but if it did, we would need only one.
Approximately 43 gallons are in a tenth of a gallon. A cubic yard is 2 cubic feet.
The compost should be BPA-free if you are using it to grow fruit and vegetables in your garden. In that case, you would eat the crops. I believe it is, but it does not explicitly say that.
Since I bought it for my wife who has two other compost containers, I can't really answer this. There is some material on the new one that she transferred. The new composter has been a hit with her. He states that she wasted exactly what she had.

I find it not difficult, but let me preface by saying that I'm an old lady. Due to the fact that I was bored and awake at 10pm on Saturday, I managed to put this together in about an hour. Even though the instructions are terrible, you should be able to figure it out with common sense. As you put the nut in, you may have difficulty getting your hand inside - but if you can figure out how to do it, then you will not have to do it again. I realize that the center panel is flimsy and doesn't fit flush - but you aren't going to make a milkshake here. As long as you won't be rolling this down a steep hill at top speeds, I think it will hold up fine. One banana peel is sitting in there at the moment, and it is doing just fine in.
Over the last few years, I have composted with 2 large bins often with open tops, adding dry steer manure as a booster, and developing a crop of flies and gnats as a result. We ordered this compost tumbler when we moved into our new house, because we say NO to flies of any kind. There is no elevator in the building, so two people will need to walk up. The compost produced rich, crumbly compost in just under 3 months in the first bin, and has begun the process of preparing compost for the second bin. In case one side of the bin is nearly full, its rotation may be difficult, but it will work. I emptied the 1st half today and it will hopefully tumble more easily from now on. Any time I take compost out, I add a scoop of dirt and roll the scraps around in the bag to coat them in dirt before I turn the tumbler on. As a result, less organic material is exposed, and wet and dry elements are mixed Suitable for use with dry material, and has served to kill Even during the summer, when we have heavy rains, the EJWOX does not take on water. The finished compost can be emptied quickly and easily with a qt size carton from my plastic recycle bin, much faster and easier than The corn cobs that were not quite done were put into the bin next to the compost starter, providing an additional source of starter material. It is possible I will have to adjust the system during winter until the weather warms up in the We are all doing fine.
I took a little bit of time to put this together, but not too I used it as a Saturday morning project. It was pretty clear how it worked. At the end, it was necessary to seek another pair of hands. As of right now, I'm filling and spinning my compost bin about every other day. I've been using it for about 3 weeks, and it's already starting to fill up a bit. I also did a little investigation on my own about composting, even though the instructions were very clear. The compost bin is easy to use, but you'd be surprised at just how much food waste one family produces and is not going to the landfill by following these steps. A POST-MODERN UPDATED I took the following photos when I made my first batch of compost in the fall of I am just now getting my garden back into full bloom for spring, and I am so happy!.
The expensive steel ones will rust no matter what the manufacturer says, but this barrel composter is better for the money. I've used several barrel composters in the past and this one is the best. My farming operation grows medicinal cannabis in Colorado, and I need high quality organic compost, and this composter is a perfect solution for My goal is to have the best products in the market, so competition is fierce, but I am proud to be the best in the market. The best way to drive a screw is with an electric screwdriver. The only reason I took 45 minutes is because I would stop to change the music and do A good value for the money when it comes to fit and finish Getting the panels to fit, the holes to match up, and the screws to match were no problem for me. Several people complain about the instructions, but the truth is if this baked cowboy performed it this well, even a monkey could. The composter is very durable and even though we have a short growing season here at 7500 feet, it churns out compost as long as there is ample sunlight. I highly recommend it!.
This is a fantastic idea. The fact that I didn't get anything smaller than 43 gallons made me very happy. It was easy for me to assemble, taking my time in doing so. I was surprised at how small the box that it came in was, not as big as I was expecting. There seems to be a breakdown of this. Compost starter, kitchen scraps, a little peat moss, chicken manure and a small amount of kitchen scraps were put in the compost bin. There have been about 100 degrees in the air. As a result, it is never smelly, in fact, it is pleasant to smell. If you like a compost-like smell, it must aerate well. The one I have now is not big enough for me. It is a fair price, in my opinion.
My favorite thing about this composter is its portability. The wheel spins very easily, and the stand is so stable that it hasn't moved an inch in the 60 mph winds we've been having recently. But I wish the door openings had been a little bigger because that would make it a lot easier to fill. I still consider that a minor issue.
Furthermore, I like that the size is not too large, so I can still rotate the drums when they are When full, it measures 10" and weighs 90 pounds) to allow it to be easily tumbled. Typically, both composters contain two chambers. However, the EJWOX composter has the option to remove the center panel and have just one large chamber if you wish I like to have two chambers so that I can have compost in two It only took me an hour and a half to assemble this composter by myself About 45 minutes. A mistake I made was that I forgot to snap the two plastic tabs into the slots on each of the seven panels, so several of the panels had to be unscrewed and I had to restart.
The components all fit together nicely and it is well constructed. Getting the last few panels in place will require long arms or the help of someone else. As far as I can tell, the assembly instructions were not specifically clear about in what direction the baffle in the middle needs to be installed, nor could I tell that by looking at it. In either case, it did not Nevertheless, this composter is quite nice and has enough volume to handle a surprising amount of waste. Assembly tip You can use the self-locking nuts by threading them onto the plastic until they touch, so you won't have to hold the nuts to turn.
