This sand anchor is much larger than I had anticipated. It's made of thick white plastic, so it'll last a long time. The anchor's neck has an adjustment screw that can be adjusted to fit any umbrella size. It's just the right size for my beach umbrella. This sand anchor would be a great match for any beach umbrella.
This was not at all practical for my beach vacation. I was also dissatisfied with the lack of a hanging hook. The part of the anchor that "grabs" the sand as you screw it in is the problem. The ones with a razor-sharp point appear to work better - if that's what you're getting at. I would have returned it if I wasn't leaving for my trip in a few days. Not to mention the fact that I paid extra for hanging hooks that I never received.
I purchased this umbrella holder with the intention of placing an umbrella for my children anywhere in the grass. The tip, on the other hand, isn't sharp enough to dig deep enough into the grass to allow the threads to dig deeper. I'm hoping it'll work on the beach as well - If not, it's completely useless unless you want to start by digging a hole by hand.
Simple and effective against strong winds, the beach umbrella will no longer be knocked over when there is a strong wind. Because it's so sturdy and strong, twisting it into the sand is a breeze.
This thing ruined our day at the beach because it wouldn't drill into the sand, and after two attempts, we finally got our umbrella set up, but it kept falling over. We returned it because I believe the tip should be longer and pointier.
We'll go to the beach in May, but we'll be getting everything we need at the beach right now. I received this sand anchor and had to test it by screwing it into my yard. As a result, if it is screwed into the ground, it will undoubtedly be able to dig up sand; it is sturdy and long-lasting!.
While I am not using that umbrella to go to the beach and am instead using it to keep my umbrella in place in the middle hole of my table glass, there are two parts marked in the photo that help keep it in place.
Despite the slight wind, I was able to keep my umbrella in place. I haven't tested it in high winds, but it appears to be sturdy.
