This was a purchase I made. When used with BLUU SYCAMORE umbrella, it works well. see no reason why it would not work with Although we filled the base with Pool Sand, we still needed to add a bag on top for those windy
This past Spring, I bought a base. The sand used for filling is play sand. The weather in Central Ohio is always nice so I intend to leave my bird feeder out there all year long.

Visiting the hardware store, I purchased two 80 lb bags of general purpose sand. I cut an old water bottle in half to use as a funnel, it fit perfect (2 litter may also The scoop was used to pour sand until it was no longer able to go in, shook, and filled until it was all in. In total I probably could fit another 50 pounds into the weights, and if I added water I may be able to do so. Unless you can easily carry 50+ lbs with one hand, then perhaps you should use two when carrying. As the indentation on the edge acts as a handle, but if you cannot, then you might need to use both hands. It was easy to position the stand on the stand, and everything Ensure that your base has plenty of room around it. However, when you are done, you will have a nice flat surface for you to add decorations to. The first day is a complete success. As I put on these in calm circumstances, I test the weight by pushing on the pole and it did not budge, so I felt confident that the amount of weight would be sufficient for the job. The second day of the retreat began on Day 2 Our time in the shade was interrupted by a small gust of wind. The wind was so strong that the umbrella almost looked like a sail as it went sideways. As soon as we had closed the umbrella, we began to rain. However, the pole remained unmoved during all of that. We will buy again if we need another umbrella. Excellent weights, would buy again.
In addition, My favorite part of the base is the color. While the umbrella is great, but I think the price is way too high. None of the computers have one that fits over the metal bars to hold the umbrella down the way I would prefer it if it was a whole lot cheaper, but it's superior to all other bases. There are other umbrella stands on the market but this one keeps the umbrellas from flying away on windy days, however, the price is almost twice as much, while other umbrella stands The stand is something that I would recommend to anyone living in a windy area or anyone who lives in an area with a lot of windy days. There are many things I like about his base, except for the cost
In my video, the umbrella swayed, but the pole didn't move. As of yet, the 4 base pieces are filled with sand and I will add water if needed, but so far it seems to be working well. Using an old juice jug and cutting the bottom off, I was able to fit it perfectly inside My next step was to scoop up the dirt with a hand shovel. Taking this route you will need to spend about 10 minutes The filling time for each is 15 minutes.
The water is not going anywhere after we filled it up.
You must attach weights to the umbrella if you do not wish to secure it permanently to a surface. A base like this one is ideal for that purpose. Sections of the book are light-colored Water or sand can fill the weight for a while, and then it becomes heavy enough to withstand Despite being full, each section can be moved by one person at a time. This is a great.
In the case of wet sand, I'm sure this would be no issue. Here is what I want to say Due to these, the base of the umbrella is enormous. This is kinda unavoidable, but definitely make sure you have lot's of room.
The holes are small and particularly difficult to fill with sand or other materials because of the easy filling with water but the hard filling with sand. A specialized funnel helped me fill my container with small, pebble-sized rocks and water, and that did A great deal of stability can be found in umbrellas. It remains to be seen how long the plastic will last before degrading in our hot and intense sunshine here in South Florida.
The water fills it up quite well, and it is very durable. I bought it for a great price.
An umbrella with one of these will stay upright for a long time. It works extremely well even in medium winds because it holds the umbrella firmly, even when it's very large. Seasonal storage is easy with these containers as they can be emptied and stacked.
