Using straps attached to the side of the umbrella pole, the Rhino weight fastens to the bottom of the pole in the shape of a "C". There are no knobs, so there is no need to worry about them sliding down the pole. If the knob is not at the bottom of the pole, then the knob is not at the bottom. When that is the case, the "mouth of the C" may be positioned over the knob and then strapped in place.
The ink on mine hasn't faded yet due to only purchasing it a month ago. In spite of this, it sits out in the sun and rain, so some fade should be expected over time.
It does not hold the pole in position instead, it adds weight to the ground to prevent an umbrella from tipping

There is not an offensive look to the bag, and it is easy to fill, but the designer thought about the size and design of the zipper so that it would still work even after a few Apes threw a bunch of sand inside. The 60 pounds of sand it has (the quantity locally) leaves enough room for more. The advertised 80 pounds seems reasonable in light of that. With the umbrella retracted, the sand remained dry even during heavy rainstorms and withstands wind speeds of more than 30 miles per hour. We know this umbrella will wobble and threaten to blow over when extended with 60 pounds of sand inside in 15+ mph winds because we run ours with this bag in it. The size of a small diameter base and the size of an umbrella leaves only so much room for maneuver. It is doing its job as well as could be expected!.
In my previous umbrella, the umbrella base weight was made from ripstop nylon, but it became very sun bleached after only a few months and rotted in I found Velcro openings had a tendency to make a mess every time I moved the umbrella with the weight bag. It appears that this material is thicker and the zipper is a huge bonus, so we'll see how it holds up. The area under the umbrella can be adjusted a few times a day based on where the shade is needed. I have a small patio so instead of moving the chairs to follow the shade, I move the umbrella. As a result, you will become fit with these. While I debated purchasing the Duo rectangular bag since they would divide the load in half when lifting, my stand is round, so I chose the Rhino Round Umbrella Base Weight with Side Slot Opening instead. Would be cool if they made the half moon version as well.
The zipper cover of one bag does not match the zipper cover of the other. There is already loose threading on the zipper cover of the bag. It's nice that it has handles and a split buckle.
It was filled with approximately 40 pounds of all-purpose filler. The following items are available Sand My choice was to put that much sand in, but how much is up to you. Once the tray was full of sand, I simply placed the lighter umbrella stand on top, and then strapped it into place. ) with an.
My jaw dropped when I read A sand scoop included with the set came in handy. I managed to fill it with almost 2 bags of playsand. It has been a very thoughtful gesture from Rhino Products to include In my opinion, it is fine- This was done. There is a large cantilever umbrella resting on it right now. This small-business has a high level of confidence in their product. If you are considering it, buy with confidence.
Rather than just using it for a while, I hope it will withstand the test of time. Thanks to the large opening and the double zipper closure, this bag was easy to fill. There is a very sturdy feeling to it, and it's very well-made This was done. After the umbrella base has been placed, it is filled almost all the way up. Using the sturdy handles on each side of the base, it was easy to adjust the placement to its final position and finish filling. I fastened the strap that holds it together once it was in its final position. I will cover it with a large tub during the winter so it doesn't get damaged by the snow. It's too heavy for me to move without help. My only hope is that it will survive for many years.
Thanks to this product, my umbrella has never been as stable as it is now. In my case, I put based on 2 The wind is stable enough on 50 lb bases, but I need more stability in the Took the chance on these based on what I saw. This is a highly recommended book. It holds 90 pounds, so I packed it with 75 pounds each of hackable play sand. I piled it with 50 pounds, then put it into the base, then added an extra 25 pounds. You won't find a better umbrella than this one. This is the best product I have ever used. I love it to pieces.
I filled it to the brim with 80 pounds of sand and distributed it evenly around a 10ft cantilever umbrella and clipped it to the buckle. In spite of all this, a gust of wind managed to knock over our umbrella multiple times within a short period of time while it still had this base However, I will have to choose the more traditional weights since they provide a greater amount of surface area contact with the ground.
