Despite my husband's size, which is 251 pounds and 6'1'', the seat is a little snug but not uncomfortable. We've had this table and chairs set for a year now, and it has held up well. LOL, however, the umbrella is a complete waste of money. If there is only a slight breeze, it will fold The umbrella was with us for a few months before it was destroyed by the wind. I snapped part of it and it broke into two halves. The top halves went into a neighbor's yard. The bottom of the umbrella pole remained fixed.
Allen keys are all that are needed, but keep these points in mind Hammer or mallet is required to tap the brackets into place on the perimeter of the table! Drawings were all that was in the instructions, which did not mention this. It would have been so simple to assemble if that one point had been provided. The manufacturer did not do this - I don't know how they managed it - This was very frustrating for me, as I had to find out by myself. Other than that, I think for the price, this is a good patio set. In a perfect world, it would earn five stars, but the sketchy, poorly-written story takes me down The instructions were quite good, but I would only give it four stars.
The pole is very thin I have no idea how long it is
A diameter of the same size is acceptable. There is a word of warning though the table that comes with it is not very big, the umbrella fits it perfectly. Whenever the table gets bigger, I think it would not be as sturdy as it is now.

It's sturdy, but on the smaller side. I initially thought, "Wow, I got an outdoor patio set at a great price. ". To a certain extent, I did. There was a chance I could have taken one more star off, but my failing to read the description would have made me do so. I love it. I like the chairs and they don't need to be assembled. The umbrella is also super easy to install, and the table is as well. While the box was a little damaged, the product was in good shape. Upon assembling the device, I found a dent on the left edge but it might have been caused by me. This is a good deal for those who do not want to spend a lot.
It is an easy set to assemble, and it's cute too. I was very surprised that the box was in usable condition given how badly it was damaged. We would have given it a higher rating if it weren't for one chair lacking a leg endcap and our attempts to contact customer support through all available means resulted in the message, "not found". Even if the instructions aren't the best, assembling this isn't as difficult as it sounds.
I found assembling the product to be very easy. I received an umbrella with a bent pole. My reply was that I would buy a better umbrella just in case. I'll hold out for now because I'm due to have company the next day, and it's a pin to return things. The table I was sitting at today, however, shattered on top of my lap and all over the ground while I was sitting there. Please note that it was delivered at 8 pm on the 18th. It was not until the sun started cooling off slightly in the late afternoon on the 19th that I put it together. On this day, the 22nd, we mark the beginning of a new week. Having spent over 200 dollars, all I got was a frame of a table for outdoor use that lasted about 3 days. I am not happy with that. There is no way I can cope with this!.
This is a bad purchase, don't buy Then this is the one for you if you like cheap products that most likely come from China! My beach umbrella arrived damaged, and its too cheap for me even to use at the shore. In the near future, I plan to replace it with a real umbrella. I took a picture of the table itself because it was not aligned correctly. A decent chair is the only good thing about this. If it was a small box, I would have returned it the same day, but because it is a big box, I chose not to deal with it. Purchase it if you don't need it.
In the end, I decided this was just the patio set I was looking for. In addition to being sturdy, the table and chairs are comfortable, and the umbrella is made of good material. This was a little more expensive than the cheaper ones, but in my opinion, it's a good one. This week's update It took the fabric on the chairs around a year to wear out. Though the table and umbrella appear in great shape, they are still in good condition. I have to buy chairs now, although I don't have the money to do so.
Update By switching the seat and back fabrics, I was able to change the fabric for the seat. It took me about two hours to attached each bolt, but now I'm hoping they will last another year.
I arrived late and there were no screws, so it was impossible to assemble the table. We can't even bother sending it back due to its size. Spending money that would have been better spent elsewhere.
Generally this is a good product, but I had no problems using it on my small balcony. With this being in the lanai, I don't expect it to last for more than a couple of years at most. The product is not designed for people who are overweight or large. All the parts and the box were in good shape, as with most of the cheap outdoor furniture.
