This umbrella pole fits beach umbrellas from 0.75 inches to 1.75 inches. One inch (25mm) is equal to 98 millimeters. A diameter of 26" (32mm)
You might get away with it, but I doubt it. Basically, there is a hole in the middle of the anchor through which the umbrella pole is inserted with little to no In order for the umbrella's anchor to fit into the tube, it would have to be small enough.
While I have not used it on a lawn, I have seen grass growing in sand at an area of the beach I visit. Since it has a metal screw to dig in, I believe it will get into turf

In this case, there are two problems 1) First of all, it rusts very A better coating is either required, or the material needs to be better in the first place, because after a single use, the paint starts flaking off and the metal starts to rust. 1) The plate that sits above the screw has a design fault. It is a good idea to use the plate on the anchor to keep it strong and from coming loose or just dropping The anchor, however, cannot go downward once you get to the sand because there are no breaks in the plate or twists in its design. In this case, dig the dirt so that the anchor can retract. Besides this one, there is another item available like this one that I use daily at the beach because it's very sturdy and holds the umbrella even when it's windy. Because my usual one was out of stick and couldn't get to me fast enough, I bought this one. There is also the Sand Grabber, which is a better product.
Other people have observed that the hollow tube fills with sand as By using just the lower half of a two part umbrella when you screw it on, you will have better alignment and the tube will naturally be filled with umbrella shaft material. It's much simpler than you think.
As long as we kept it in , it did a great job. It was really hard for me not to love it. Our umbrella stayed very secure at the beach this past weekend in what I would call a steady stiff wind UNTIL the screw that holds the umbrella into this base completely fell off, sending our umbrella crashing into another family that wasn't too happy about it. Unless there is a bad weld or just cheap metal, I think the screw goes through a bad It will be returned to you. I have amended the last paragraph to include the photo, and to mention that I have received.
About a month later, I discovered we could find the same item at our local Walmart for $10. Using it for the first time caused it to blow out of the sand. It was buried even deeper than the square plate on the second use, which required digging around the plate to submerge it below the sand and I had to run the umbrella down with the anchor attached twice to get it out of the sand. After the first time, even milder winds blew it out. This time, I persisted and it The only problem is if there is any wind, I have to watch closely and fix it when it starts slipping In a month, I was browsing around a local Walmart, which is not something I do often, and I spotted just under $10 umbrella anchors. I can pinpoint the weld to the very last detail. I'm sorry, but that's too bad. The deadline for returning this one has passed. Walmart is a great place to shop!.
I have tried several different brands of beach umbrella anchors and the ones with an auger are the best. I simply twist the point and it drives itself into the sand and works perfectly. This is a remarkably sturdy sail in the wind too! Unless the tide comes in during high tide, and we get a wave flooding our site, I see only one problem with it this anchor will become If it rusts (as it is made of metal and not cheap plastic), it will probably rust very quickly. If it rusts too much, I will have to order another one if I don't order another one soon. We recommend ordering two at a time so that you have a spare in case one.
Excellent, did what it was supposed to. The thumb screw provided for the pole was not long enough to tighten it into the holder. The Sportbrella XL pole I used the holder with had a narrow pole, so it didn't fit. I got a longer thumb screw at the hardware store and while I was there, I put WD-40 on it to make it screw in easier and prevent it from freezing over with the sand and water, so it wasn't going to bind. The Sportbrella is durable and will last for years to come. We were much more confident about it staying put than our giant wing Sportbrella.
Over the last two years, this product has been heavily used on river and ocean beaches. Rust has built up internally, and the screw no longer works to hold the umbrella in place. The reason we still use it is due to the fact that we hang our beach bag (from an umbrella hanger, which I highly recommend) on it so it weighs it down enough that between both of them we've never had it blow over. I intend to buy another one in the near future.
The beach cabana I bought at the beach is a little flimsy, so I bought this device to permanently fix the bottom into the sand. One of the worst mistakes I have ever made. There is now no way out of this device since the entire point of the umbrella is stuck. The device had to be left outside the bag when I left the beach. In the end, I was able to remove part of the umbrella base. Very disappointed with this product because the end of the base is stuck in the device. This is what I would advise. It is not safe to use this device. There is no point in having a Cabana if the water is unsafe to drink.
