If the hole measurements are 2 inches in diameter, then it should fit perfectly in that direction, but you must also factor in the height (or thickness) of the table. In addition to being about half an inch thick, a glass table top is about a quarter inch thick, so I would expect a wooden table top to be slightly thicker. Despite the flange at the bottom, it would still work if it was cut off.
There is a space of about 1/4 inch between the upper and lower rings. No more than 1/2 inch total height.

If the glass is too thick, you will not be able to use the product. No one will be able to wear it.
My patio table had an umbrella hole of 2 inches in diameter, and this item was the perfect fit. Taking it apart and putting it back together was very easy. You just need to remove the hard plastic cap, fold the flexible ring a bit, and place it in place. It has been suggested that the ring must be warmed up first, but that doesn't seem to be necessary to me. Once I had the ring in place, I replaced the cap. It would definitely be a purchase I would make again and recommend.
It is high quality but not an exact fit in the 2" hole. In the center of the hole, there is no The hole rings that fit various umbrella holes have not been snugly fitting. I read a few reviews and half expected this, but I would prefer it if it fit Aside from that, it's an item of very high quality. Soft and easily manipulateable, it is an excellent option for users. Though loose, it will still hold together even if it falls out, even with its loose state. Probably would have fitted better in a 1 3/4 inch or 1 7/8 inch hole.
This one is made of soft plastic whereas the old one was made of hard plastic and cracked easily after a year. Considering how long it appears to last, it is likely to In case one of them breaks, I bought two. It is highly recommended. The ring is flexible, so it is easy to install. If you don't want to use the umbrella, just remove the umbrella pole. It also comes with a cap.
There are other reviews that say this is too loose for a 2 inch screw. The old one had a few loose screws, but it was all weather cracked and needed to be replaced. This is nothing but a cosmetic issue since I don't have an umbrella. I'm really glad you did that the silicone outer ring adjusts easily to fit the outside of the hole and the rigid hard cap fits inside the hole so that it looks almost exactly like the original one. Even so, it still fits well, even though it's a little loose. The world is a good place for me.
I like that the ring is silicone as it should last longer than the hard plastic insert that came originally with the table which eventually corroded and cracked in the sun and weather. the ring is loose on the fit. It moves a lot in the hand, but it does not come loose. I will just leave the plastic cap insert out because it is difficult to insert and remove from the ring.
It took me a while to find a ring that would fit my finger after purchasing several of these rings. This hole can accommodate an umbrella measuring 75" wide. Due to this plastic's softer nature, it can be bent a little and will fit quite snugly after a little adjustment. This is an excellent website that I am pleased to have discovered.
