Several months ago, we experienced a very severe storm and the truck rode it out without any problems. I was very pleased with the product. All of the seams and grommets are well placed, and shipping was incredibly fast, and the price was reasonable* Edit During the heat of the summer, the shade deteriorated to such a degree that a couple of grommets pulled out of the fabric where they were attached A replacement was sent by Fed X the same day after I contacted the seller and I was asked if I wanted a replacement or a Unlike the original fabric, the replacement fabric has an improved and more durable edge binding in that it can be seen in the picture, contrary to the exposed cotton fabric in the original. Could I have received a different factory run to the one I originally ordered?.
I gave it a 0 out of 5. The purchase was not a good one in general. This is a ZERO STARS review! A shade cloth made of the same material that I had worked with outdoors in direct sun for 19 years gave me the impression it should last for longer as well. I have not noticed any differences in use on my shaded area and the weather has not changed. There is no difference in the appearance of the new purchase, it is the same color, but it is of poor Over the last year, it has begun to fall apart. It is now torn to pieces. The quality of the material is terrible. As far as I've seen, this shade cloth looks like the same material, so it's hopefully going to last as long and has so far stood up to the sun, rain, and very strong The only one star is to draw attention to the accessories that are junk and the cheap quality of the materials. When exposed to heat, the little balls and their elastic cords deteriorate almost immediately and fall apart. I suggest that you look elsewhere if you need cords with balls like these. To secure the shade cloth, you can find marine grade bungee cord that I have been using for twenty years and is still good even in direct sunlight. If it is marine grade, make sure it's It is unfortunate that some liars are involved.
The only complaint I have is that there was none! I made a pvc frame and wrapped it in this sunshade to protect my travel trailer from the sun and keep most of the blowing rain from getting into the camper. It also acts as a sight block, so you cannot see if the camper is there or not. It doesn't seem to block the sun well (camper and truck away = family probably on vacation = empty house = easy target)
I tried the cheaper black sunshade that sells all over Amazon but it did not work. In the end, I put two layers of said black sunshade however, I could still see through it from the road (300 feet away) and I wasn't able to block as much sun and rain blowing in as I would have liked. It only takes one layer to make it perfect. Edit
Since the fabric is extremely strong, the roof metal of the RV carport should have been able to cut through it without a problem. Having kept these up, I am very pleased with how they hold.
A storm blew through our neighborhood early Sunday morning that split a tree in my front yard and knocked over a large tree in the back yard next door. I lost part of my canopy in the storm and it wound up partially This shade is most likely a sail that picked up the whole thing and pushed it across the room. Since I've only had it installed for about 3 weeks, I can't say anything about the durability, but it was easy to hang, it looked really sturdy, and I'll be extremely happy if it endures the Austin summer without too much damage.
A couple of these covered the top of our pergola three years ago. My review differs from that of other reviewers because I did not use the ball bungee cords for attachment. In the spring, I take the tarp down, remove the screws and reinstall it. I attached it with deck screws and placed the tarp during the winter. The shirt currently has a couple of very small tears, so I am trying to find another one to replace it. It is very pretty and the color (wheat) is very nice. Our customers compliment it a lot.
Approximately 9 months after purchasing, you will have to replace it. The sun and wind will always be there for you unless you live in the arctic. Please note that Almost a year ago, I bought this. Out there, the snow is turning to powder. In addition, I can't fix the seam at all, even with tarp clips because it is just disintegrating. Just like the grommets, the seam is just pulling away on three sides. It really bums me out. When I bought it, I paid 66 dollars for it (glad to see it's cheaper now, but still not worth the price), and it took a lot of time and effort to produce. It was great when I first got it, but it does not hold.
The equipment is most useful in SW Colorado with plenty of sunlight and heat A cool breeze. Over an existing metal support structure, this roof has successfully served as a sun roof for one summer. Metal pergolas almost appear as if they are going to be stone. Several other reviews also mention durability issues or deterioration under intense UV light in Arizona or Florida. At such a reasonable price, I feel that I can get 2 years of use out of it (7 months When they're stored inside during the winter), I'll be over the moon. The review will be updated if it doesn't make it through next season. Here are some of the things I like The pants have gromets on all four sides, which makes them more secure to wear. My favourites and my dislikes are as follows There were not enough bungee cords / we didn't have one for each I found out later that's okay since the quality of the bungees is extremely poor (others have also observed this). Exercising and stretching were the first things they did After a few months, the plant begins to sag. My wish for a different outcome Shade fabric makes up 90% of it. It would have been nice if it came in at Unfortunately, I have not been able to find a canopy with grommets on all four.
