It is awesome to have shade during the day while it is hot out. We ordered one for overhead and one for the outside. We put them both up, used staple guns, and got awesome shade. I was pleasantly surprised to see how much sun it blocked and how the temperature changed.

The addendum to this document is dated After getting scammed on a custom shade I ordered from another company, I decided to order this as an alternative. Although it is larger than what I need (6x8 as opposed to 4x6), I thought I might be able to fold it in half to fulfill my purpose. Fortunately, the package arrived much sooner than expected, which was a great relief for me. A big thumbs up to the seller for this! While the material and construction of the product seem to be of high quality, there is one major, annoying That is an extremely crooked construction! The longer side of the picture is a good six to eight inches longer than the other and it was impossible for me to hang. When I was trying to figure out why the darn thing isn't level, I believed it was me and the plane. However, after getting out of a plane, I realized it's because the thing is I lowered it on one side in order to make the grain of the fabric appear straight since it hangs between two posts on my porch However, since I had enough material to wrap around a post on one side, there was not enough left over on the other side. Doubling it was therefore an impossible task. After about four hours, I gave up on the whole idea. here it hangs, looking less than appealing, but there is just no way for it to be adjusted so the two different lengths are not noticeable. Due to the fact that I was out there until after noon, I don't know how much it will cool that area. There is a positive tangent to this story in that regard. I will have to wait and see. This addendum is to express my appreciation for the product, while not actually being eye-catching, has greatly contributed to the cooling of my porch, creating a breezeway that is very pleasant to sit in any time of In addition to making the area far more comfortable, it also adds a great deal of privacy to my porch, which has now become one of my favorite places to spend my morning and afternoon. In addition, grommets are not evenly spaced which makes it difficult to hang the picture symmetrically. The eyelet was just clipped on as a last step, to make it square. The thread used in sewing seams is very weak. It is already falling apart as a light breeze (12mph) blows through today. I ordered two of these, one 8 x 12 and one 6 x 8,. The 6 x 8 is the subject of this review. It hasn't been a priority for me to put up the larger one, so I'm hoping it will be good.

My deck gets really hot on the west side, so I put this up to keep the heat at bay. There's no way to go outside or walk on the deck barefoot when it's that My only complaint is that the dark color turned me off from hanging it on the west side. tried a lighter colour once, but it was not as effective as this.
Now I have changed my tune! This is a fantastic idea. I had grommets so I was able to hang it. I can now lie on the deck with my dogs instead of having to search for shade under the trees since it is now so cool. I highly recommend this and my next purchase may be this one. While it will be 92 degrees this weekend, I doubt that the deck will grow hotter than that. Product of very high quality.

The first thing I want to say is that I live in Arizona, and I use this product to cover the swimming pool mechanical equipment. Once it was received and installed over my pool equipment, I realized that a black one would not work due to the summer sun, so I called the company and they sent me one in tan instead, and the tarp is working well keeping the summer sun off my pool filter and pump.

The whole thing was a major letdown! Although we built the sandbox to the dimensions listed here as the size of the fabric, the fabric was actually too small to cover my kids' sand box. I've never been a fan of bungees, and these are absolutely horrible! The quality of this product is poor. We had to tear it all down because they broke and were stretched out in no time! Cats were getting in through the gap between the shade and the sandbox and in no time the whole thing was destroyed. You should be ashamed! It is not a product we would recommend.

A brand new house was built in OK and when we sat out on the porch, we did not realize how hot it would get as the West sun beat down. Simple to install, this shade blocks just about the entire sun while remaining transparent enough to still allow light through. Using bungee cords, we were able to secure it to the porch columns, ensuring it would remain in place even during gusts of wind during Oklahoma's summer storm season. Everyone has a good time as the dogs lie around in the shade cast across the grass. It's definitely worth your time to try this color!.
