The board was screwed to studs in my home's exterior and bolted to boards. The awning sags so much when extended that when mounted at its maximum height, it would hang as low as Expended end sags at about 5 feet, at the wall it is about 5 feet. I am 5 feet tall. It is too high for most people to walk under. For this to work properly, you need at least 9 feet of clearance from the ground. Assembling it takes up to 3 people, and it takes 2 to 3 people to install it. I completed most of the assembly without problems the most difficult part is sliding these rigid PVC "straws" into the fabric, and the process is painfully slow due to sticking. The instructions indicated that it was a single roll of this PVC material, but its packaging did not say what type it was This item comes pre-cut from the factory and has two sizes (which are not shown in the instructions). One of them is smaller in diameter and is actually inserted Go with a product with a higher quality that won't lose two feet of clearance when fully opened and you will save some money.
The husband had to build better supports for the system to be used by us.
It replaces a worn one that we had. Several years ago, we had out one installed. As far as quality and functionality go, I was impressed with the product and I want to tell you the mechanical features and installation process are superb. Purchasing this product was such a great decision it looks great, works great, and I am thrilled to have One of the best purchases I've made. I will be buying him one for my home after he is satisfied with it.
We still were unable to nail down what they wanted us to do after all the trials and errors. There are three large coffee cups, one small cup, and one medium cup. Our first step was to work the large one into the awning pocket, and it turned out that it was actually the SMALL spline that was needed to attach the awning to the roller on the rail where it attaches to Secondly, we need to have the following information available To prevent the outer ends of the awning and valence from flying away, the end caps need to be attached to the rail holding the outer ends of the awning. Exactly the center of the awning needs to be centered on the rail and the screws must hold the splining in place so that it doesn't move. There is a certain position that the sliding fittings must be placed in for the arms to latch onto the outer rail so that the awning will close properly. You'll need to get it adjusted correctly to operate properly The shade we want is about 1/2 way down the structure, while we still have standing room. We haven't found the need to extend it fully, however, and about half way gives us the shade we want.
I don't think the instructions are very clear. A few days after my negative review was posted, the company reached out to me and apologized for the bad review. We came to an agreement for all of our extra time and expenses. This canopy would be an inexpensive option for someone with some mechanical skills. Having worked with the company before, we found it to be excellent.
Those awnings seem fine to me! We are OK with them in general. ** We have purchased 2 sets of support poles (expensive), and are awaiting their arrival. Voici the problems My wife is not happy about how our two units are painted two different shades of beige (we bought 2 units). ** The shipping was bad and there were delays In the event of the awning being handled in this way, it will have been damaged (by improving the packaging this problem could be avoided).
It's 6/13/2021. The repair part was received after the awning was replaced. A replacement was provided at a reasonable price by the company. In my opinion, the seller is a great seller since they are responsible. It's a pleasure to have you here, thank you!.
