It's not very tall, but my husband screwed some wood under it to the deck, then screwed this wall on the wood. Now it's over 6 feet tall, and we have no view of our neighbor. Our company found this solution to be very useful. We had our hot tub installed just a couple feet taller than this, and it blocked out the light from next door and protected us, too. I mentioned in other reviews that there was a fishy smell at first, but it is now gone. Retractable applications are hugely convenient due to the fact we can keep them closed until we need them. Those using it still find it on the ugly side, so we'll have to keep working on that.
