It is a cheaply made product but it works
The distance between the deck and the awning may determine how much space is available. Almost all telescope poles can only collapse to about half their original size. Apart from that, I do not see why this would not
These really lift the front side of the car up. I ordered two and received two, one for each side.
That is not the case, Sir. Purchasing it separately is the only option.

My Sunscreenter retractable awnings are 13' and 12'. I purchased these as wind blocks. There are no problems with their durability. Using the mounting bracket that slides on the awning channel, they are installed. There is a 1/16" discrepancy between the thickness of aluminum block and the thickness of channel. A grinder was used to shave down the hair. The awning works flawlessly as if it were designed specifically for it. This works out to be just as good for $30 for two poles as Sunsetter costs $100. Also I did not mount the rubber caps on the bottom of the poles but put them on the bottoms of the poles instead. For the rubber caps to slide on the bottom of the poles, I had to pull out the barrel pins. They screw on to the brackets and can be removed and put back on as necessary.
The first thing I have to say is that I am very happy with this product. The only part that I had to modify to fit my needs was some of the hardware. I would recommend this product to people who plan to keep their wings extended out for a very long time. The following is Modification A Hose Clamp was used to make the pole more durable when it comes into contact with wind or rain. 1436425 Lowes part number ***Modification #2 Inline connector on a 24 volt power supply. Changing the Allen machine bolt to a thumb screw drive machine screw from Lowes
Once I made these changes, it was a lot more sturdy and disassembling was a lot easier.
purchased these to replace a set I bought last year which had become frozen and had become impossible to adjust. It seems that both sets of latching mechanisms slipped or slipped out of place, so they were unable to extend. With hose clamps, I have fixed the problem, and the awning can now be supported without slipping down and hose clamps can be used to adjust the height and secure them. It appears they are now able to cope with the minor setback.
The Aleko retractable awnings and the Suncast retractable awnings I have are both Suncasts. My house is built with bricks and they are both mounted to the bricks. The wind never liked me, even though they held well. It is no longer necessary to worry about bricks. There were times when I had to grind down the locking nut because it was a 1/16 inch too thick to fit in the suncast. A cotter pin would make them easier to detach once done, I am thinking of swapping out the traditional pin for one.
There is only one pivot point that pivots parallel to the beam at the back of the bracket attached to the awning. A pivot that goes in the wrong direction would be used to angle the poles away from or toward the wall. While we had the ability to angle it a little, it poses the risk of the top bracket breaking the black plastic insert that holds the bracket in place. It will not work horizontally as the plates that mount the pole to the ground or porch rail are vertical. It probably won't work if you want to mount it to the side of a rail post.
They are now contacted Aleko because I really like the awning, but they told me that since I did not purchase the supports, nothing could On my new deck, one of the screws broke off and left garbage following it.
They work, but are rather thin and flimsy in construction. Without some kind of support, though, the Aleko awning hangs way too low. It was pretty easy for one of the poles to buckle. There are 50 of them. It would have been nice to get something more substantial for $00. We did make replacements for about 15 of them, however. A small 1/2 inch electrical conduit was cut to size and recessed nuts were inserted into the brackets to attach them to the The material is MUCH stronger.
My awning part was too big for the part to insert into it and I had to double back to Home Depot for extra parts to make it work. There were no instructions to help me assemble.
