Questions & Answers

What is the best way to secure the safety seal? Other seals suggest using a warm iron with tinfoil between the layers to keep it sealed tight. Yes?

Hello, once I've poured my honey into the bottle, all I have to do now is close it tightly with the yellow cap with the seal on it, and that's it.

I'm still unsure how much honey these containers can hold. Is it 16 oz or something similar? If a half-pint mason jar holds 12 ounces, 24 oz in a 1 pt jar Is this somewhere in the middle of those measurements?

I'd like to put your mind at ease--I was also perplexed, so I took measurements of the ones I bought. These have a capacity of 12 fluid ounces. A pound (or 16 weight ounces) of honey is equivalent to 12 ounces. br>A pint is also 16 ounces, so this is in-between sizes. If you're measuring for canning, you'll need somewhere between a 1/2 pint and a full pint.

Is it true that that price includes four boxes?

Honey has a higher density than most liquids
5/5

This is my second order of honey jars, and I've had no problems with them. I read a lot of comments about the size of the jars in relation to the weight of their contents and thought I could shed some light on the subject. br>br> A container with a capacity of 12 fluid ounces (FL. OZ. ) is equal to 16 ounces of honey This is due to the fact that honey is 50% heavier by volume than water. br>br> As a result, labeling a jar as 12 oz and calling the same container a one pound (16 oz. ) container are two different things. ) honey jar is correct. br>br> Here's a quote I came across on the internet: br>br> Honey is usually sold by the pound rather than by the pound. It has a greater density than water. Because 1 cup of water weighs 8 fluid ounces, but 1 cup of honey weighs 12 ounces, this is the standard for "fluid ounces. " The weight of a gallon of honey is approximately 12 pounds. br>br>Perhaps this clarifies things a little. All in all, these honey jars are extremely useful!.

These jars are fantastic! These jars came in handy after we finished our first honey harvest
5/5

They're made of a nice soft but durable plastic with mouths that make cleaning and filling a breeze. They're the ideal size for giving as a gift to friends. I just placed my second order, and I intend to purchase in bulk when we do our "big" harvest at the end of the summer.

I was extremely disappointed
3/5

These were purchased with the intention of filling them with honey. They arrived in a box that had been thrown together with bottles and caps. The caps were clogged with dirt and debris, as was the seal, which was also filthy. The containers are cloudy and dirty, and they appear to have been used before. In half of them, there is a crack or scratch that does not go all the way through. If I didn't have an order to fill by tomorrow, I'd return these. Sorry for holding it up to the light to show all of the dirt and blemish marks, but I do not recommend this product. All photos were taken after the product had been removed from the package and had not been washed. The bottom right corner of the picture has a crack in it.

Honey is a great fit
5/5

We buy honey in bulk from local apiaries, so these little jars are perfect for us. The jars are clear, the perfect size for easy handling, don't leak, and can be stored upside-down to ensure you get the last of your honey. The only drawback (or, more accurately, a cautionary note): These can't take a lot of heat, based on my previous experience. They won't be harmed by the water from my tap, but if you try to melt honey in the microwave, the plastic will be distorted. Even when using a hot water bath on the stovetop, you must be careful not to overheat it. Despite this, I prefer these to any other honey storage and serving containers I've come across.

The size does not match the description
3/5

This purchase did not meet my expectations. I make homemade Elderberry syrup for my business and thought this jar would be ideal because it had a pourable spout; however, the size description does not match up. I sell 16 oz jars and was disappointed to discover that it only holds about 12 oz, resulting in a complete waste of money.

The following are some advantages of bottles: However, scratched up: They appeal to me
4/5

I looked for a bottle similar to this for a long time but couldn't find one. It appears to be well-sealed and does not leak. I must, however, concur with Joshua Floyd - They came in a haphazard manner- thrown- into- Most of them were scratched up from being in a cardboard box. Also, the caps were [only] loosely-fitting. thrown- into- the- The bottles are kept in a cardboard box. It's not that it's a bad thing; in fact, it's quite the opposite. However, I believe that anyone selling a bottle as nice as this one should go above and beyond in terms of packaging. (I would if I were trying to sell it!).

It was possible that the final product could be better
3/5

Overall, a good product with a few flaws: every bottle I received had multiple scratches, scrapes, and blemishes on it. The tops of lids were thrown straight into the box, and I discovered small particles of what appeared to be grass clippings, as well as other particulates, stuck to them and the seal on a couple of them. They made bottling my honey simple and presentable after they were cleaned and inspected further.

Bottles with a capacity of 16 ounces are not acceptable
3/5

12 oz. , to be precise. In a box with the number 12 written on it. 1 pound bottles of 16 oz. This is the third time I've ordered this item. Each time, I received a total of 12 - While ordering 12 - 12 oz. bottles, Honey is packaged in 16 oz bottles. I'm guessing that wherever the bottles are boxed, the individuals or company have no idea that they're putting 12 - 15 bottles in each box. Bottles of 12 oz. The case has the number 12 on it. 1 pound of honey in 16oz plastic bottles I really hope they fix their mistake.
