With it, I could put a lot of food and I could put it away for a very long time. I'm so glad there is no more food on the floor!.
For our small backyard flock (6 chickens) I hung this feeder off of the welded wire in my small chicken run so I didn't have to worry about figuring out how to hang one or finding the perfect place to put it. As of now, it seems to be working perfectly and exactly how I expected. When I add a scoop of feed to it, the girls go right to I guess the only issue is one of them likes to jump on it and sit on the edge, but it's alright. It seems like chickens are having issues.
I am a little hesitant to use the clips because they tend to be tough to open, but they are unlikely to lose them.
use it to hang our two pet Pekin ducks on a chain link fence. The carabiners are very strong, and it hangs straight, so it is not a flimsy product. It is made out of very thick plastic, so it should last for.
For our goat feeders, these are great they are durable and of great quality. They are abused daily by our goats while waiting to be fed and they still hold up to it!.
It was much bigger than I thought it would be. Although it is large for the price, I wouldn't say it's It is made from thick plastic, and seems durable, however the way in which it clips on to a fence is not very good. In the event that the bottom is bumped, the beverage may spill. To ensure the bottom is secure, it would be best if it had another clip. I can give my small dog a treat.
My chickens are going to use this holder to store oyster shells. As a whole, it is an excellent piece. The hooks would be nicer if they could attach to a smaller mesh size, then it would be able to hang on the inside of the chicken coop run and keep rain out.
There are two of these in my collection. Despite their size, they are tough little feeders. However, Amazon made it right when they shipped a second one without the clips.
