Yes, the 37780 hubs are for the dana 35 with 27 spline. There would be 23 splines on the dana 28. Don't forget the Warn nut kit if you're replacing your junk auto hubs.
These are the most powerful 5 x 4s. 5 made. I'm guessing you're going to put these on your Jeep? I bought a set of Super Winch locking hubs because they appear to be more durable for my 94 Explorer with Dana 35 front TTB axle.
The Warn 37780 hub was created with a full-size vehicle in mind. Conversion of the first-generation Jeep Wrangler's rear axle to a floating axle. They're sturdy enough for 33" tires. The kit comes with everything you need to get started.

Now that the woods are open for the summer, the WARN 37780's reputation as a bullet-proof machine will be put to the test. They are noticeably heavier than the old hubs, and the internal components appear to be well constructed. I figure that if they can handle the rigors of a Dana 35 rear end in a Jeep, they should be fine for my FORD's front end. So far, everything appears to be going well, but only time will tell.
I bought these for the front axle of my 1994 Ford Explorer. They bolted right up like they were designed for it, and I'm no longer concerned about the automatic hubs failing. They have a good weight to them and are already pre-assembled. greased for a fast and simple installation.
For a Ranger, Explorer, or Bronco II with a Dana 35 TTB, this is an excellent upgrade! If you have manual hubs (or purchase the conversion kit), it will be a direct fit. Despite the fact that I have never blown a stock manual hub, I purchased these as a precaution. I could tell they were much beefier units just by looking at them and feeling them! You can bet that these will never blow up because they were designed for a Jeep's rear D35.
With the right tools and the Spindle nut conversion kit, these are sturdy, heavy-duty, and simple to install. They click into the "free" position with ease after locking in and locking out. The only thing about ordering these that I didn't like was that the website said they wouldn't fit my vehicle, but they did. I had done a lot of research on this before hand and knew with 100% certainty that they would These are made for a jeep, but I put them into my ford ranger. br>br>Whatever your application, do your research and this is the set for you if you need a strong and long-lasting replacement for your manual hubs.
This is the best style hub replacement. The front hubs on my Ranger were made from these. Direct replacement is possible. I'm still perplexed as to why Warn does not condense its catalog and make this one hub available. Warn Ford Ranger replacement hubs are much lighter and stronger, so these are highly recommended.
Replacement parts for my Cherokee's Warn hub conversion. Regrettably, the kit is no longer available. At the very least, Yukon continues to produce stub axles and other components. I'm not sure where I'd get replacement spindles, but I suppose I'll deal with it if I ever need to.
Fits and functions perfectly in my 99' TJ with upgraded hubs, and for those who are interested, Randy's Ring and Pinion can supply the remaining parts if you need to service this assembly. The part numbers and instructions can be found on stu olson's website.
Put these on my father-in-law's Ranger 4 from 1994. No more jumping out of 4x4 with a 0l manual transmission truck.
